24.01.2022 Attention: Ok update Jetgo are and will still be providing direct flights to / from Melbourne as of October 30th this is a promise, remembering that you can still get to Melbourne via Virgin and Qlink and reach destinations around the world via our beautiful and practical regional Hervey Bay / Fraser coast Airport... i believe we are one of the best airports ever and i will go on to say that 99% of the people who work at the Airport who make it function are the best and frien...dliest mob of people you will ever meet at any Airport. Now the fraser coast council and myself will be putting together a great plan for the future of air transportation. So we are asking for your continued support into the future months by supporting Jetgo who are an Australian based airline and based in Brisbane we are all communicating regularly, so please stay positive and no more negativity.... 23.01.2022 Just putting it out there...During the week our fantastic Historical Museum in Zephyer st Scarness was broken into and all of the tools were stolen so can we please put together some people who can help donate some tools, not money just tools please ....I've started with an angle grinder, so anybody who may have tools laying around that they don't need or use anymore would be greatly appreciated. 19.01.2022 Hello to you all, i apologise for not being on here for a while, but i was copping some uncalled for abuse and criticism which was totally unnecessary. Ok Jetgo will be taking bookings for Direct Flights to Melbourne as of the 30th of October, i ask that you give them a chance even though they pulled out on such short notice at the end of the day it was a business decision and the viability of bookings etc they only had a total of 76 passengers booked, so it is definitely hap...pening and in saying this there is another airline looking at also coming here which i will not mention, so please what ever happens lets just all stay positive, and if i get any negative private messages i will expose you this time, i am the guy who made this happen i am not the Airliner as much as i would like to make decisions for them with marketing etc etc. So please Jetgo's Number is 1300 328 000 please show your support. 16.01.2022 Hello all....well still here just needed a break, been overseas and loved the break. Ok back to work, i believe that with the amount of families moving here from down south the need for direct flights are inevitable. But we all still need your voices to be heard, so please be patient i know I've said this a few times but that's all we can do, i believe the fiasco with Jetgo was done in an unprofessional way and that they should maybe of proved themselves before pulling out, because the first time they cancelled in july was enough to scare people away, if they had of planned better in advance and advertised in Melbourne instead of up here, they probably would of had full planes everytime but unfortunately it failed regrettably. However lets all stay positive and keep sharing the love and i think we will achieve. Have a great week. Robbie
