25.01.2022 This speaks for itself!

25.01.2022 We have gotten off to a great start this year. Several new students aged between 10 and 70+ commenced lessons this year and are all having a great time developing their knowledge of theory & ability to play off the written music . It's astounding the number of young people that are not being taught how to read and only to play. It's sad to think that these students are not being empowered to be musically independent . I am proud of all my students and their progress . I am committed to developing their skill so that they can indepently pick up any sheet of music and work it out for themselves. Congratulations to all of them!

23.01.2022 With current health crisis in the world I have transformed my teaching studio and and am now giving online piano lessons to my students. Those who are interested should let me know and we can discuss how we can set this up. At a time like this people will have more time at home to learn and develop their skills. Thats making lemonade out of lemons !!

21.01.2022 The first half of the year has been great. Having a music lesson for many people is a healing experience. My students have a lot of fun in their lessons, and walk out with big smiles on their faces. Music is such a great way to relax and unwind. It's such a joy for me to share the gift of music. 20.01.2022 Santa Photography has begun at Target Sunbury. Children and pets have been enjoying their time with him and now have their special memories captured and printed... to take home. Very Exciting times!! Santa will be there till December 24, every day except Monday 9 and 16... even Santa needs a day of rest!!! I'm currently compiling my original compositions and arranging them for piano. I'm using the old-fashioned pen and paper method as well as using current music technology with programs such as Logic Pro and Sibelius. Having enormous fun with it.

Please let me know if you are interested in taking singing, piano or guitar lessons OR feel free to pass this message on to someone in your life who has been sitting on the fence and wanting to learn. You are never too old to begin, and like anything in life, it is the journey not the destination that counts. My students have been on a journey of musical discovery and we have all being having a great time together on that journey. I look forward to sharing it with you!!

14.01.2022 I am in the process of creating my goals for 2019. My plan is to record and document songs and music I have written over my life time. I have started taking more singing lessons, after a 7 year break. Its like going back to the gym after not training for a while. I am loving it and am blown away by how quickly I am picking up what my teacher is showing me. It's great being back in the "student" seat. There is so much in life to learn, that one will never learn it all in one lifetime. The journey is what it is all about and I am loving the journey.

10.01.2022 I started teaching a young lady aged 12 several months ago. She didnt have a piano to practise on and I had serious doubts about how she was going to progress. This young lady has succeeded in disappearing one of the many myths I have about teaching and learning an instrument. She went home and studied the music and learned how to read notation. She created a keyboard on paper and learned where all the notes were and even played her pieces on it. Her progress has been ex...traordinary! This weekend after several months of lessons, she is picking up her first piano which she is getting from another student of mine. I cant wait to see her progress once she starts practising on a real piano. It just goes to show, where there is a will there is always a way. See more

08.01.2022 Many people have difficulty finding the time to practise their instrument between lessons. They can often feel discouraged and disappointed with themselves and then consider cancelling their lesson or even worse, discontinue their lessons. What they dont realise is that as long as they continue to learn and attend lessons they will still make progress whereas if they stop they are likely to go backwards or even worse, forget what they have learned. In my opinion the hardest thing to do is set up and stick to a practice regime. I encourage all students not to give up, and to pursue their lessons. In 6 months or a year you will look back and be proud of your progress even if the practice has not been as frequent as you or your teacher would have liked.

07.01.2022 We are quickly approaching the end of the summer holidays. I hope you have all had a great time. Lessons will recommence in early February.. Im looking forward to seeing all my students again and working together for a productive musical year.
