25.01.2022 Don’t look down... Who is hanging out for the chance to get back to overseas adventures? This is our podiatrist Andrew climbing Carstensz Pyramid in West Papua, one of the #sevensummits, back in 2017. Some of you may recognise the picture in the treatment room in Essendon.

23.01.2022 You may be surprised to know that foot injuries are much more common than knee injuries. The foot is a very complex structure with 33 joints and 26 bones and undergoes significant load when running and changing direction. Generally a niggle or sign of pain in the foot is a red flag that an injury has occurred or is beginning, so it is important to get it checked early as foot issues tend to take a lot longer to heal than other areas of the body. #podiatry #getbackonyourfeet

05.01.2022 Directors who train together, stay together. Tony and Andrew from @melbournesportsphysio and @melbpodiatry have been practicing what they preach and training for their specific fitness goals with Chris from @authentichealthstudio Tony is working on strength and endurance for surfing while Andrew is working to increase his power and endurance on the bike . Having a specific goal can make training much more rewarding as when you start to see the benefits in your ...desired activity this helps with motivation. Perhaps instead of just dragging yourself to the gym to lose weight, think about something you’d like to improve on ie increase running speed and generally the side effect will be improved fitness and body composition. #practicewhatyoupreach #fitnessgoals #getbackonyourfeet #podiatry #physio
