25.01.2022 DIY kitchen renovation using our Flinders panels painted black, covering his existing tiles and making a feature of the counterfront. Thanks to Hamid for providing the photos of their kitchen overhaul.

25.01.2022 Simple solution Leanne and Pat were offered a panel of pressed metal leftover from a friends renovation. Theyd been wanting to renew their own bathroom, but couldnt face the hassle of removing and replacing old tiles. MPM to the rescue!! We installed the gifted panel along with our Fleur panels over the top of the existing tiles. We used our decorative external angle to cover exposed edges. Leanne painted the panels and Pat installed new delightful fitting and fixtures. Result- Beautiful Bathroom on a budget.

Alan is the ultimate professional builder- this project was so successful because of his attention to detail and insistence on quality tradesmen throughout. We feel privileged that Alan did his research and chose us to complete the heritage plastering and pressed metal restoration and replication work required to replicate the original features of this beautiful home.

09.01.2022 Weve just returned from the national AWCI conference in Perth, and have brought this beauty home! Melbourne Pressed Metal, in conjunction with Adelaide Pressed Metal, collaborated for 18 months in the heritage restoration of Flinders Street Station. Our scope covered a range of elements including repair/restoration or like-for-like replacement of copper domes of the clock tower and the mansards, pressed metal cladding along the Flinders Street awning , lead flashings along ...the entirety of the parapets and zinc window sills, hood ornaments, shingles and corbels along the entire southern facade. It was a privilege to work on such a beautiful building and help restore her facades to their former glory. We are grateful to all of the delegates that voted for us, as it was one among many outstanding projects completed in Australia in the last year. Back when we could celebrate weddings- our portable feature wall made up of our Magnolia panels painted with a two toned distressed finish was a perfect backdrop for this beautiful outdoor wedding in the Yarra Valley.

05.01.2022 Ryan, Marc and Josh came into the shop wanting pressed metal for a counterfront in the new bar they were opening up in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. Whilst in store, they also decided theyd use pressed metal panels as dados in the toilets rather than tiles, for ease of cleaning and cost effectiveness. To narrow down pattern choice, I asked for their design theme. To quote Ryan Grandmas house meets Trainspotting!! These gents represent everything great about young entrepreneurial Aussies- they thought of every design, aesthetic and construction detail, and gave it a crack themselves. Theyve absolutely smashed their brief, and Im so glad they shared this album of their journey. I cant wait to get in there and try out Marcs cocktail concoctions, and see their handiwork in person...

01.01.2022 Before After Can you spot the repaired section in this heritage pressed metal ceiling in Moonee Ponds? We were able to replace the damaged section with our Gladston panels. Our authentic moulds are in imperial measurements, so heritage restoration projects are seamless.
