19.01.2022 I am a self love advocate. I fill my days with small things that are gifts to myself. I call them self loving actions. I send love to myself every morning for the entire day and collect that love along the way. Self love is a way to connect with parts of ourselves that need attention and yet we are ignorant of its existence. ... Self love actions shifts energy and create a change in our internal environment and frequency. Below are only some body actions for self love actions. It is an inside job. * Self love actions is through movement of the body such as walking, dancing, getting out in nature and having a bath. * Self love actions is to tune into our breath taking one deep belly breath and sigh it out and release. Do the 4 square breathing, inhaling for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4 and repeat. * Self love actions are to sit quietly and tune inward. Close the eyes and letting thoughts pass like clouds in the sky without attachment. Feel the feelings in the body, see yourself as a flow through system and stay an empty vessel. * Self love actions are practicing yoga Nidra by relaxing muscle groups in your body. Move through each body part from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. As you inhale, squeeze and release the muscles as you exhale. Repeat. * Self love actions are to relieve stress and release endorphins through exercising. Go for a walk or a run, dance, jump, shake or do some exercise routine that resonate. * Self love actions are to mindfully move, such as walking meditation or swinging your arms and body to the left and right. Dancing, shaking or jumping are therapeutic and healing. Thank you @beyouliving for your inspiration. . . . . . . . #selflove #selfcare #love #actions #commit #doit #prioritise #wakeup #consciousness #breathe #move #dance #shake #walk #nature #bath #essentialoils #meditate #healthy #healthyliving #cleaneating #juice #fast #pray #journal #pickflowers #garden #yoga #tunein #connect See more

18.01.2022 Mushroom season is here. They are medicinal. Long before trees covered the Earth, it is said that our precious planet was covered with mushrooms. While medicinal mushrooms may be new (or newish) to you, these superfoods have actually been used since the time of the Ancient Egyptians and Chinese for their health benefits. ... Medicinal mushrooms are great for immune health and also helping the body adapt to stress. Not only that, they are full of antioxidants (which protect your body against free radicals), and have anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties making them stellar for helping your body build natural resistance against various diseases, toxins, and viruses it encounters.

17.01.2022 Worrying about tomorrow doesn’t change tomorrow. But it does change todayand not for the better. Lama Marut, A Spiritual Renegade's Guide to the Good Life This is a good practice that I learnt from Lama Marut. ... Evaluating each day from start to finish every morning. Make a plan for the day and if you are ready and it makes sense 'start something new'. Are you adjusting to a pandemic society? We are being forced into a new normal. But, what exactly does this new normal look like? Remember whilst in lockdown in Melbourne, no matter who we are, there is a level of discomfort so to speak, a level of uncertainty to a changing world. May be it is time to unpack what parts of the 'new normal' you need to protect and what you parts of your life you can leave behind. Remember healthy habits and unhealthy habits play a large role in our mental health. May be it is time to evaluate and let go of some of the negative habits you may have and replace them with healthier ones even though habits are hard to change. Don’t try to tackle all habits at once. Take one small step at a time and micro manage these steps until they can be mastered and become new enjoyable habits. Change is here to stay. Lets stay strong and robust with change and uncertainly. 16.01.2022 New haircut. Thanks @elliot_and_co for the 25 year relationship and trust. I love my grey and much shorter hair. I am at a crossroad in my life and looking at things differently, believe it or not my new hairstyle resonates new perspectives. ... Oh what to do!! I am not certain of any directions to go but I am grateful for the people coming forward in my life giving a helping hand. I love my work and wish to continue working with clients. My teacher Dr Laws is 100 years old in May 2021. What a remarkable lady and mentor and inspiration she still is! I am blessed for amazing role models in longevity and passionate living around me. I yearn for a change of scenery after 25 years living in a sensational warehouse in Windsor. I look forward to new ways of working next year. I am nearing 67 years and in a 9th year cycle in numerology. This death and transformation year forces change whether you like it or not. This change has come with a much relaxed feeling at Christmas. A letting go of formality and accepting life as is. What a relief! It’s a surprise to feel so relaxed. I honestly think Covid-19 has come as a huge influence and a reset for my thinking. Living a freer life and working smarter is my dream. My work is stronger than ever, I feel empowered in giving direction, advise and wisdom for a happier and healthier life for many not just clients. I live primarily as an example in health, vitality and happiness but life often trips or tricks me with many challenges and obstacles. Numerology has always made sense to me, it helps with understanding the cycle of life. Do you know which life cycle you are in right now? Make the discovery call for yourself. It really helps going forward with clarity for 2021. Are you changing? Are you resisting? Do you feel stuck? Change is here to stay. Accepting change is wise. Go with it.

09.01.2022 Let me hold space for you. Let me be the container for your overwhelming feelings that you may be encountering due to life’s challenges. I am called upon to help and hold space for others through difficult times. At @raw_satya we hold space for you to feel safe and not be judged. We want you to be fully expressed in your truth, unhappiness, grief, anger, helplessness, life difficulties generally and health issues. ... We give hope. Wounds are universal. Everyone experiences different emotional wounds through their life. Whether small or big, recent or in the distant past. It exist and changes our lives through our actions, reaction and triggers. Unknowingly it affects our relationships, our work, moods and health. It causes anxiety, depression, motivation and zest for life. It is a constant. Once known the wounds become our friend. We eventually get to play and have fun with them. Don’t deny these wounds, they are often the gateway to our freedom. If these wounds go unaddressed, they can impact our ability to be present and appreciate the present and therefore negatively affect our future. We must be brave enough to do the emotional work and go deeper. Believe me it is liberating to know the ‘you’ and the ‘whole you’. The fear of going deeper is based on uncertainty, and foreknowledge does not always ease the mind. Fear of change is often closely intermingled with the fear that growing into our own true potential will force us to face situations for which we are not ready. 05.01.2022 Stop being NICE. Niceness is a sickness. Go deeper and connect with your feelings. Those of you who come to me as clients have heard this from me for years now. But guess what, I fell a victim of this myself because I had fear. I shut down. My nervous system was on high alert but I didn't listen. Compassion is kindness. ... Nice means you can put on a brave face and grit your teeth through it, all the while questioning is this really how I want to be in this situation? Nice has also been described as a version of the disease to please or make everything ok by shutting down. Nice means you bring a different version of yourself to each relationship. Nice means adapting and being inauthentic. We need nice culture rehabilitation. Boundaries allow us to continue relationships with others. Boundaries allow us to remain compassionate. Brene Brown states the most compassionate individuals are the most boundaried individuals. Boundaries mean we listen to what our bodies are telling us about an individual. Let us slow down and listen to our bodies. Our nervous systems, through neuroception, know when someone is not safe. Do you rush everything in fear of upsetting someone? Do you feel like if you don’t do what you have always done that you will disappoint someone? Are you afraid to be alone with yourself and punctuate your day with a massive task list? Slow down. Stand barefoot in the grass and watch what sensations arise for you. Listen to music. Share how you feel with your safe people. Sing, sway, dance, hum, chant- all of these techniques engage the vagus nerve and promote the felt sense of emotional and physical safety. Kindness is safe. Be kind to you. Self love is kindness to yourself. Nice can be fight or flight and very inauthentic. See more

05.01.2022 I deserve a pat on the back for making this 5-day water fast possible. I did a great job! What a wonderful achievement to manage a 5-day water fast during the Melbourne lockdown in isolation and living on my own. It’s been quite a task and I feel quite perky.... Breaking a water fast is equally important as the fast itself. Many people don’t have that knowledge and do more harm to the body and mind. And some completely ignore the fact that it is important to break a fast properly, and undo the good work achieved. During a water fast, the digestive system gets a complete rest from assimilation of food. When the digestive system stop assimilating, it reverses its effect by throwing unwanted matter from the body. Depending on the length of the fast the body will start ingesting itself. This isn’t a bad thing and will ingest, destroy and recycle its own damaged cells and proteins so that new cells can be rebuild. The rejuvenation begins. This process is called Autophagy and it is essential for helping protect against diseases like cancer and dementia, among others. Breaking a water fast is basically restarting the digestive process all over again. Therefore it is important to go very slow or the system will be overburdened. There are various ways to break a fast and in my experience it is best to go with watered down green juices and some herbal teas and more water. Juices are easy to digest and will give a boost of energy on every level quickly. In my experience my brain comes alive. Please do not attempt a water fast unless assisted by a medical or health profession and dont fast if you are on medication, ill, lactating or pregnant. I will continue to post my post water fast journey while in lockdown in Melbourne. If you are wishing to know more about fasting or clean eating please book a free 30-mins consultation with me and I will assist you. . . . . . #mentalhealth #clarity #clearmind #light #lightbody #weightloss #clear #selflove #waterfast #fasting #healthyliving #health #naturopath #lockdown #melbourne #covid #juicing #focussed #rejuvenation #newbeginning #anew #renew #cleanse #detox #foodasmedicine #wellness

04.01.2022 WINTER MEANS VITAMIN C. COVID MEANS BUILDING YOUR IMMUNE RESPONSE AND SYSTEMS THROUGH THE FOOD YOU EAT. Vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid, is one essential nutrient it cannot be manufactured in the body. ... Citrus fruits are excellent sources of vitamin C, although other types of fruit such as guava, kiwi and papaya contain more of it per gram the citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes and even tomatoes. Consume citrus fruits while they are fresh to ensure you receive the most vitamin C, the nutrients are sensitive to processing and are quickly denatured. Oranges contain the most vitamin C per gram so squeeze your own and drink within a few hours as exposing the juice to air destroys the nutrient. Do you want to feel amazing and full of beans in winter? Come along for a consultation and we will show you the ways to build a strong immune presponse through the food you eat. 03.01.2022 My absence on social media has been long enough and it’s due to some personal challenges in my life. I am committed to doing the work. Then I broke my wrist. ... It appears when the pain is too much, the body will break a bone for release. This is wild! Most of us avoid the emotional work needed for a life in freedom. When my wrist broke I felt vulnerable and helpless. My loved ones came with food, flowers, others with extra cooked meals filling my freezer. My sons made beds and cooked soups, my daughter in law and grand daughters visited and made dumplings. My home suddenly was filled with love and gratitude. This is what it means to receive. My default pattern, it usually is - ‘I can do it all by myself’, ‘I don’t need anyone’. Exercising extreme independence can block love and support, and this can come from a childhood trauma as a response for survival. I raised 2 boys, bought 2 homes, created three successful small businesses on the side. I took care of my health and studied for 10 years graduating as a Naturopath. All this was achieved whilst flying with Qantas for 35 years. Created @raw_satya. This sounds wonderful but this high level of independence come as a coping devise. It is a cry for help. The yearning to receive gets confused, and the excessive giver is born. It’s a trickster, we give excessively to receive and fall short in receiving because we are too busy giving. The good news is trauma that is acknowledged is trauma healed or understood. The ability to shine the light on the hidden shameful parts of ourselves is the journey. We have a strong tendency to avoid pain. We are programmed to seek happiness, peace and solutions outside ourselves through financial successes, relationships, our passion, peak experiences, travels and other distractions, and at times even spiritual bypassing. What if liberation and freedom is through the pain itself? The pain which is also part of us yearns to be felt and acknowledged. Most of the time we want the pain to go away and search desperately for solutions outside ourselves for the pain to be healed and disappear. Unfortunately this never works. Do the work, trust that this is our liberation. It is an inside job.
