17.01.2022 Well done to all MRC competitors who raced at Head of the Goulburn last Saturday. We had record numbers this year boating 5 eights, 2 quads and 2 singles. Congratulations to the Men's D8+, Women's C8+, Masters W 8+ and the Masters Women's 4x+ for winning their events.

16.01.2022 It was a pleasure to host Rowing Victoria's event this evening with guest speakers from the Australian Olympic W8+. The second of RV's coaching seminars titled Coaching the Cox was delivered by Bill Tait (VIS Head Rowing Coach) and Lizzy Patrick (National and Olympic coxswain).

15.01.2022 Merry Christmas Melbourne!

11.01.2022 Well they say that Rutherglen will either provide high 30's heat or rain. This year it was gumboot weather on land, but perfect racing conditions on water. MRC did exceptionally well over the weekend with 51 competitors racing over 87 events. We placed second overall on the medal tally and only losing the Red Gum Shield to Corowa by 7 wins. Congratulations to all members, especially our first place winners. Our final score was: 29 wins, 20 second, 12 third place.... Thanks to all of our members who attended Rutherglen. Your help loading, unloading, rigging, de-rigging and then re-rigging again, driving the trailer, driving the bus, coxing, putting up the tents and pulling them down ensured that the weekend ran smoothly. Less than 7 weeks to go to State Champs, let's bring it home MRC!

08.01.2022 MRC is a collaborative, community club that gets around & supports the activities of our fellow competitors & clubs. Tom Schramko of Mosman Rowing Club has been selected to represent Australia in the U23 Double Scull, alongside Luke Letcher of Canberra & needs our support. The athletes need to raise over $60,000 to compete in a variety of international competitions. Tom has been nominated to receive a $10,000 Colonial First State Sports Boost, which he needs our nomination for! The bonus of Tom receiving this nomination is that if he wins, Junior Rowing will also receive a $15,000 boost. It costs nothing but a few seconds of your time. Voting closes midnight Sunday. Follow the attachment to vote for Tom and for our beautiful sport:
