25.01.2022 Today is the third Thursday in November. Why is that important? Its World Beaujolais Nouveau Day. Named because it is the day that the Beaujolais Nouveau is released by the winemakers to the world. We think this is a perfect excuse to feature pour a great Australian wine tonight at the Supper Club ~ Meadowbank Nouveau Syrah Pinot 2019. Ripe red fruit, a touch of peppery spice and baked fig. @meadowbank_tasmania

25.01.2022 Our 2018 Monopole Pinot Noir, which we make in collaboration with our talented friends at Punt Road Wines, is pouring by the glass at @melbournesupperclub. 2019 was a year of celebration for this vintage, as it took out the trophy for Best Pinot Noir at the Yarra Valley Wine Show. Head upstairs this weekend to celebrate too.

23.01.2022 If youve managed to get through this hectic week, come and treat yourself to a fancy toastie and glass of wine. Its a decadent match- smoked salmon, devilled egg, zucchini pickle on brioche with a glass of chiselled Mac Forbes riesling. Mac is one of the most thoughtful winemakers we know, forever questioning why things are done, both in the vineyard and winery. And the toastie has been touched by Philippa Sibley, need we say more!

This puerile wine, is full of vim and vigour explodes quite literally on the palate with notes of ripe cherries, cooked plums and native pepperberry. 12.01.2022 Rome has long been famed for its offal dishes, our Roman inspired tripe marries robust flavours with melt-in-the-mouth Wagyu like texture. We’re massive fans of the wines of Giuseppe Rinaldi, now made by his daughters Carlotta and Marta. Their 2016 Dolcetto is one of the most pure expressions of its type from the hills of Barolo.

12.01.2022 99.9% of sauvignon should be drunk young. The fresher the better. But if you are a non-conformer, we've got something for you. 2016 Huia Sauvignon Blanc ~ this Marlborough delight boasts flavours of tropical fruits, fresh cut grass and grapefruit zest. Subtle notes of wet earth and pebbles have crept in with a few years of age, cushioning the palate. Sauvignon's trademark mouth-watering acidity sweeps through on the finish. We've matched this to one of our tastiest bar snacks ~ taramosalata with fried potato skins. Dip the salty crispy skins into the whipped taramosalata, while sipping on this one-of-a-kind sauvignon.

03.01.2022 For some lucky ones, its the last working day of the decade. Perfect timing, as we have just received our annual allocation of the wines of Jacques Selosse. They are transcendental expressions of champagne which have defined modernity in the region. Their magnificence is perfectly suited to the celebration or meditation.
