25.01.2022 So this is me, Shenelle . I thought I might take a moment to do another little bio about myself and where I am at, as it has been a while! Currently I am 20 weeks pregnant with our 3rd child and I spend most of my days running around after our other 2 boys like a mad women! Life is full of dump trucks, diggers, bike crashes, muddy clothes, lego and toy cars. And I love it! But apart from being a mum, I am a small business owner. Usually at this time of year things woul...d be slowing slightly in the wedding world, but we still would have had at least one wedding most weeks and the endless emails I seem to only just keep up with! But instead, along with so many others, I find myself suddenly having all this time on my hands! Its great in some ways, but I cant help feeling a little bit lost. On the occasion I do receive an email for a new quote I am practically jumping up and down on the couch with the boys in excitement Anyway, as I have quoted many times before this too shall pass and we are trying to make the most of the situation. Im loving the extra time this has created for me and the boys to relax and just hang out together. I speak to my mum on the phone every day. I zoom my friends. Im reading again and I have a few painting projects in mind I will end by saying this: although these are crazy times, try to stay positive. Find the little things that make you happy. 25.01.2022 Yesterday we had the pleasure of styling Bell & Jack’s wedding at Goona Warra Vineyard. We installed ceiling draping with fairy lights, our floral chandelier and centrepieces in the ballroom, with our giant LOVE, welcome signage, floral arrangements and white carpet runner for the ceremony.

03.01.2022 So, stage 4 restrictions are coming into effect from tonight with more announcements due tomorrow. I just wanted to say to everyone please keep your chin up - we can do this! We need to do this! If you look you can always find some positives in almost any situation. If you cant work it might mean more quality time with your family and the time to do some home maintenance! Homeschooling, although difficult will be such an experience to look back on! Appreciation for the littl...e things and the freedom we would normally have if Covid didnt exist. The time to try a new skill or a project you have been thinking about. Turn a hobby into income. So far for me, isolation has given me the time to write my first childrens book - a lifelong dream of mine! It is available for pre order via the website www.travisthetyrannosaurus.weebly.com . I have been spending more time resting than I usually would without being able to decorate weddings and this couldnt have come at a better time (if it had to happen) being 8 months pregnant! More time with my kids and thinking up little projects we can do to keep entertained. Some days we have a picnic lunch outside or we cook up new recipes together. I talk to my mum on the phone more than I ever did before. And Im back into gardening - something I had slackened off with the past few years. So try and stay strong, stay calm and stay positive.
