20.01.2022 Dear students and meditation enthusiasts, I'm sure you are all aware of the State Governments recent decision to shut down non-essential services for the foreseeable future due to the spread of COVID-19. I understand that many of you are feeling anxious at the mounting uncertainty that is facing us all during this pandemic. ... As well know, self-isolation can bring about significant mental health issues in people as we begin to feel the effects of loneliness, boredom, fear and ambivalence. However, it is not all bleak. We can also use this opportunity to learn new skills, and learn to ground ourselves and ensure that we are keeping as calm and centred as possible during this difficult time. That is why Zenhancement will be offering Meditation Fundamental Sessions in a purely ONLINE environment using Skype as of Wednesday April 1st 2020. These one-off 1.5 hour sessions will cover: - The myths and misconceptions about meditation - Various 'spot meditations' to refresh and calm you instantly - How to meditate without frustration or judgement - How to calm your mind - The difference between thinking and sensing - The importance of looking after yourselves - How to regulate your emotions effectively Those who take part will receive a comprehensive guide to meditation that they can refer to in times of need.
