17.01.2022 Today the Victorian Government announced an extension to the lockdown period and that the current restrictions will remain in place for an additional seven days. In line with these restrictions, all of Melbourne Polytechnic’s campuses will remain closed until Thursday 10 June 2021 inclusive. We will continue to operate remotely. 12.01.2022 Last week we saw 130+ secondary students attend the Fairfield campus for VETiS Sound Production and Music performance workshops. Students participated in a range of workshops including improvisation, stagecraft, live sound and studio recording. We also hosted an industry panel moderated by Stephen McEwan and Sarah Carroll, Ukulele Queen of the Bellarine with special guests Tim Rogers (You Am I), Rhiannon Atkinson-Howatt (Merpire) and Steven Teakle Barry Morgan's World of Orga...ns who all shared their unique journeys in the world of music performance. Bellarine Secondary College Bellarine Secondary College students had the opportunity to perform live for the industry panel who provided invaluable feedback to everyone performing.
