19.01.2022 Could frisbee really be returning?? Well it just might be with the Uni Summer Social Program, a university social league designed to teach anyone new the basics of frisbee and give the rest of us the chance to finally get some games in. The program will be held on Wednesday nights (in Albert Park ie the APL fields) starting in December with 3 sessions to focus on basic skills and rules of the game. This will be followed by a small break and the program will resume in January... with more of focus on games. 18.01.2022 Merry almost Christmas! We all hope you're doing well and relaxing this holiday season! With the coming new year, and the warmer weather hitting us, why not celebrate both with some beach pick up games. There will be throwing, there will be layouts, there will be swimming. 08.01.2022 Hi everybody With restrictions further easing in the coming weeks and months, we thought we would reiterate guidelines made by the Victorian government about recreational exercise and sport. The most important piece of information is in relation to outdoor exercise. As we are a club made up of adults, we will only be allowed to exercise together in groups of 10 at most. We will also only be allowed to do this outdoors, and any exercise done indoors will require a COVIDSafe Ma...rshal, one which we as club don't currently have on hand. No games will be played currently as well. All disc throwing will occur at a distance of 1.5m in accordance with government regulations (This means no marking drills). 04.01.2022 Hi everybody! Are you a new student to Ultimate? Are you a returning student, who after over 6 months of not touching a disc has gotten rusty? Well fear not because the social league is here! This social league aims to help students develop key skills and allowing you time to get back into the groove of just generally playing. The sessions will start this coming Wednesday the 2nd, and three sessions will run every week (2nd, 9th and 16th). From here there will be a small brea...k for Christmas and then the league will resume in mid January (13th).
