If youre having trouble translating your following into sales then the problem is not what youre saying, its when youre saying it.... Are you making sure that you provide testimonials? Providing easy ways to work with you? Automated emails that deliver continued value? Knowing what types of content to produce and when is just as important as knowing what to say. Mapping your client journey is the easiest way to understand your ideal clients challenges and feelings at each stage of their journey with you from first connection through to onboarding them as a client. If youre struggling with translating your content into sales, then look at what types of content you need to deliver in each stage of the client journey. So, its not your messaging that sucks. Its some other part of your content strategy that needs work.

Which now I see as totally ridiculous because a) who burns a scented candle on a special occasion b) what even is a special occasion and c) there's really no time like the present... 12.01.2022 Be Yourself. Coming from a corporate background, I’ve found this the most difficult thing to do. I laugh when I think about my start-up self. I used to eye-roll the use of the word biz, cringe at posting a selfie and feel physically sick at the thought of doing a Facebook Live. But now, my language is far more friendly, I’m more willing to share my story and I’m happy to turn up to do a Facebook Live (I still need notes though )... This has come about because of personal growth. I’m more in tune with my purpose and values. I know why I turn up and serve my ideal client every day. I’m also very clear on my unique selling point as it’s connected to my purpose of teaching and empowering and my values of family and community. It’s based on creating relationships, rather than transactions and numbers. This business journey is as much about you as it is your ideal client. See it as an opportunity to learn new things, test and research. Most of all, enjoy the ride!
