22.01.2022 In 1985, the Environmental Protection Agency labeled glyphosate a carcinogen. In 1991 they mysteriously reversed the decision & in May of this year they re-affi...rmed their position that glyphosate - despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary - is not a risk to human health. Now Bayer, the company who purchased Monsanto in 2018 & are now 3 for 3 in court losses are using the EPAs position as an argument that the 3 cases (including the latest $2 Billion case) as well as the 13,000+ waiting for their turn - should all be dropped. Theyre claiming that the court cases conflict with the position of a federal agency, as you can see theyre getting desperate. Itll be very interesting to see how this all plays out, but in the meantime, the best thing we can do is continue to avoid this toxin as much as possible, starting with these 9 foods: Canola, corn & soy are mostly GM & sprayed heavily with glyphosate. Non-gmo soy is also sprayed prior to harvest, a process called desiccation. Avoid canola oil, corn syrup, soy milk etc Wheat & oats are also sprayed prior to the harvest to dry them out & make them easier to handle (desiccation). This is a big one, because oats are such popular food choice these days & even though theyre considered the ultimate health food, hardly anyone talks about the fact that theyre marinated in glyphosate before being harvested. If you do choose to eat them its so important to buy organic oats. We probably didnt need another reason to avoid sugar, but sugarbeets are GM in the US & so any foods containing sugar made from them will contain residues. Remember that 80% of the packaged foods in Australian supermarkets contain GM ingredients, sugar & corn syrup being the most common! Chickpeas, faba beans, lentils & other legumes are also sprayed prior to harvest & so contain glyphosate residues. If you choose to eat these foods go organic & always discard the water from the can. 18.01.2022 Accurate statistics needed - The HAP is clear that whatever its origin Covid19 is real, has caused millions of cases internationally, and many deaths. However,... the internet and media contain misinformation from both official health authorities as well as people who have differing views. Massive social and economic disruption is being caused here and internationally as a result of political decisions which will take generations to rectify. These decisions are based on government data, and so there is a massive responsibility for every Government to report accurate and honest information. A failure to do this will lead to more conspiracy theories, greater mistrust of official actions, and associated stress and anxiety of citizens. Internationally, there have been claims that deaths due to Covid19 have been overstated in order to increase Covid compliance. The most obvious example was from the USA where a healthy young man was killed in a motorcycle accident the autopsy found he was carrying the Covid19 virus, and so his death was classified as a death from Covid19 clearly misleading. The HAP is concerned that we are not being given fully transparent information regarding Covid19 deaths in Victoria. The Victorian Chief Medical Officer recently stated "For deaths from coronavirus, anyone who is a confirmed case who dies is classified amongst coronavirus deaths. So, it doesnt have to be definitively from coronavirus, and in some instances in aged care there would have been some residents who were already receiving palliative care who became infected with coronavirus". This section of the press conference can be seen at 48:55 in the linked video. This means that an infected person in palliative care or with stage 4 cancer etc and dies from the pre-existing condition or simply from old age, is being counted as a coronavirus death. This increases the reported deaths related to coronavirus, but should be reported as a death WITH Covid19 not a death FROM Covid19. Every death has tragic consequences, especially for the relatives who see their loved one passing without their family being with them. However, these statistics are used in part to justify the continuing Stage 4 restrictions in Victoria. What is the percentage of Covid19 deaths who have died FROM Covid19 as opposed to WITH Covid19? Is it 90%, 50% or only 10%? The HAP simply asks for accurate statistics so we can know which deaths are a direct result of Covid19. The HAP believes that at least some of the anxiety surrounding Covid19 would be reduced if citizens could have complete confidence in what we are being told by politicians and health authorities. To paraphrase the old saying - truth is the greatest disinfectant - truth is what has been missing in the health debate in Australia for decades, and its needed even more now when it comes to Covid19. https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=405283963782980&ref=watch_permalink

16.01.2022 The body doesnt have an organ called the immune system. The human body is an immune system. A system composed of viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites & a few h...uman elements too. The last decade has uncovered discoveries of the vast universe we call the microbiome. Two paradigm shifting conclusions have been ascertained from thousands of research studies: Neither human immunity or the human brain work without the interaction of millions of species of tiny organisms that inhabit every niche of the human body. The gut is the Manhattan of the microbiome. Every internal organ; liver, kidneys, vascular system, and brain, have unique ecosystems of viruses, bacteria & fungi that maintain balance & function. The foundation of the gut & microbiome in human health cannot be over emphasized. Our lab has been working for 7 years to understand the relationship between the microbiome & integrity of the intestinal lining. Your gut lining, covering two tennis courts in surface area, is only half the thickness of a human hair. This super thin cellophane-like barrier is not a wall, but rather an intelligent gate keeper, allowing the good stuff in, & keeping out unwanted biome, toxins, organic, inorganic toxins, etc. In a profoundly eloquent method of checks & balances, mother nature has designed our gut barrier, the primary structure that defines your self-identity at the biologic level, to be completely dependent on its continuous contact with the microbial population of the earth. Through your breath, food & all you touch, your microbiome is an extension of you. If you isolate yourself from nature & her biodiversity, you will falter in your self-identity, immune function, & in your mind. 1 course of antibiotics: shown to increase your risk of major depression by 24%, anxiety disorders by 17% 2 courses of antibiotics in a year: 52% increase in depression & 44% increase in anxiety disorders. Neither the microbiome or the virome are against us. The microbiome, communicating via viruses, is the origin of biologic life & the avenue of adaptation that makes a biodiverse, abundant, resilient earth. If we fight it, we will die. Go hug a tree. 14.01.2022 A fascinating look into the healing potential of sound.

11.01.2022 The soil on the left is the result of regenerative agriculture. Sheep and cattle were carefully managed and rotated on the land. They ate the grass, deposited t...heir urine and dung and were then moved away to let the grass grow back quickly. The cycle is then repeated at a later date. This allows the pulling of carbon into the soil. It is darker because carbon from the atmosphere (and more organic matter) is now in the soil. The soil on the right is from the neighbour's farm (where the corners of the paddocks meet) but only regular grazing methods were used there (animals were kept in one area). The soil with more carbon holds a lot more water (roughly 150,000 liters of water per hectare for every 1% of carbon thats added) and is full of microbes. Whether we eat them or not, carefully managed animals play a crucial role in regenerating the land and getting carbon into the soil. We can also grow grains, vegetables and many other crops using Regenerative practices that improve the quality of the soil. #regenerativeagriculture #theregeneration @savoryinstitute

10.01.2022 Most of the people I see in practice are suffering from or on their way to a chronic health condition. To turn their health around or properly manage the drivers of these conditions takes time and commitment. This level of care is not covered by Medicare and as of April this year, nor is is rebatable by private health insurance. This article highlights the need for change in the current health care system, which was created around a need for acute medical care. Times have changed.

10.01.2022 Conflicts of interest are rife in the medical science industry, and Australia has no regulating authority over it.

09.01.2022 All phenomena are interdependent. Yet when we think of a speck of dust, a flower, or a human being, our mind sees these things as individual phenomena. If we tr...uly realize the interdependent nature of the dust, the flower, and the human being, we see that unity cannot exist without diversity. Unity and diversity interpenetrate each other freely. Unity is diversity, and diversity is unity. - Thich Nhat Hanh, in How to See. Artwork: Catherine Nelson

09.01.2022 More and more people are noticing discomfort after eating bread or wheat. Sensitivities and intolerances can be difficult to pinpoint. For some wheat send to be the culprit, for others all gluten grains are an issue, and then there are those that can tolerate organic grains, so it may be the pesticides causing the issue. Commercial wheat and many other grains are highly processed. All of the above situations fall under this label.

06.01.2022 Seed saving is food security. Seed saving is health care for future generations. It's a lesson in letting go and planting ideas when the time is right. ... It connects us to place, to the seasons, to Earth's cycles, our ancestors, to ourselves. By saving seeds we are extending a hand to the earth and honoring those who were here before us. The practice of seed saving protects genetic biodiversity, it strengthens the next generation plants. Plants adapt to the specific environment and build a strong, symbiotic relationship with the soil, microbes and mycelia. Autumn is perfect for visiting your skeleton plant friends and helping them spread their seeds. It's important to witness plants in all seasons, not just their peak, pretty stage. Dicidious trees let go of their leaves to decay into the earth, feeding the soil and mycelial networks below. Flowering plants drop their seeds, some seeds need the cold winter stratification period to sprout in spring. It's all innately in them, they don't have to be reminded of what to do. If you've been following me for a while you know that I believe plants are some of our greatest teachers. Autumn is a time to let go and release the things that once brought you nourishment (leaves) but no longer serve you. The energy shifts inward, to your roots. It's a time to collect your thoughts and dreams (seeds) and ask what needs to be done before you can sow them. Sitting with these thoughts, planning the details, and mapping out your path can create confidence, excitement, and intention when you go to implement them. This creates space for rest and recovery. Allow yourself to rest and dream. What are you holding on to? What can you let go of? What dreams are you collecting and excited to sow down the road? #autumn #falltips #seedsaving #herbalism #healthyliving See more

05.01.2022 http://chng.it/JZyqQMRy8f I try not to get too political on Facebook, but I get really pissed off about deception and injustice, especially when it is driven by government and big business. In 2017 Google's parent company invested heavily in pharmaceuticals. Since then it has changed it's policies on the wording in ads that is allowed by healthcare practitioners, thus rejecting these practitioners from using Google to advertise their services. This covers any practitioners t...hat refer to diagnostics, or therapeutics other than drugs. Basically, they are preventing over 92% (according to their estimate) of people searching online from accessing information on drug free alternatives for healthcare. Last year Google also wiped it's search history for health, which means that when you type in key words, the pop up suggestions are no longer created by the algorithm based on the most popular searches. For example, if you type in "Naturopathy is" in the Google search engine, the pop up list has been pre-filled by Google, not predetermined by public search terms. If you are still using Google as your search engine, and you have an interest in Natural Health or just plain old freedom of information (which we are losing at an alarming rate in this country along with our right to protest), then consider making an independent search engine your default browser. The younger generations are seeing all this going on through unfiltered eyes, and it's time the rest of the country woke up and did something about what is going on. As I said when the Government used the "No Jab No Play" spin to distract the general public away from the fact that that what they were actually doing was taking away your rights to parent as you see fit, this is about a lot more than Heath Care. This is about freedom of information. This is about democracy. This is about standing up for the rights of your children and their children. This is about have a say in your future. It does not take a revolution to make a stand. If we don't all start doing things now to educate ourselves and reserve our right to information, we will wake up one day and have no choices left. It;'s already happening so there really is no time to lose: https://www.sbs.com.au//australia-s-democracy-has-been-dow Say "enough" to the growing trend of restrictive policies in Australia. If it doesn't affect you directly, think about how it may affect your grandkids - things aren't looking too bright.

02.01.2022 CALL TO ACTION: Deadline June 30th! The Medical Board of Australia (MBA) is seeking public feedback on plans to tighten regulations on medical practitioners who... provide complementary therapies and emerging treatments - placing patient choice at risk. If adopted, the MBA guidelines could see Integrative doctors unable to recommend vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements, natural therapies, diagnostic testing and other services not typically offered in 'conventional' medical care. By framing them as 'fringe', the move is also set to impact the registered health professions of chiropractic, osteopathy, Chinese medicine and acupuncture. We've made it easy for you to have your say. Click on the link below and let the MBA know why you value access to holistic healthcare and support doctors right to offer it. Together we succeeded in forcing government to re-examine policy on health fund rebates for natural therapies - LETS PROTECT RIGHT OF CHOICE HERE TOO! https://www.yourhealthyourchoice.com.au/mba-submissions/

02.01.2022 More evidence on the impact of pesticides on human health... Prenatal exposure to organophosphates has been linked to altered brain activity in teenagers. The p...opulation group were those who had grownup in Silas Valley in the United States where pesticide use is high. Functional near-infrared imaging monitored blood flow in the brains of 95 teenagers and found that the higher the exposure the more brain activity was altered, particularly when performing tasks that require executive control. https://bit.ly/2lxVZY3 See more

01.01.2022 I believe grief plays an important part in the development of depression. This is a good example from an aboriginal perspective. But in our society there has been a lot of change in recent decades too, such as loss of traditional roles, family connection and primal instincts, toward a more money and material focus. I wonder how many people consider the sacrifices we make for these goals.
