22.01.2022 What’s your mad dash dinner? We have many in our house. One of my favs in a demo dish creamy coconut chicken curry with cauliflower rice. Sometimes like today we have normal rice and others it’s cauliflower rice. I love that I can make my own tandoori paste in less than a minute so I have no hidden nasties. Another plus is the kids eat it and go for seconds.

21.01.2022 #sydneyeats Scones for Morning Tea! We love scones! They are fast fresh and so easy to whip up. Cookidoo has so many recipes to choose from. I personally love the buttermilk scones. Mix up your ingredients if you like.... Use coconut sugar and it will taste caramelised. Add other fruits such as raspberries, pears, dates, apples. Even add nuts or chocolate chips. Just add them through the lid when kneading. Absolutely delicious. Give them a go and let me know what you think. 19.01.2022 Are you getting creative this week for Halloween? The.fun.kitchen is. They are using there Thermomix multiple times each day creating fun healthly lunchboxes and meals for a family of 6. I love her creativity. Not sure how I personally feel about Spooky Green Vanilla Custard though. My kids would think it amazing and want some for the class.
17.01.2022 Brunch Don’t you just love being able to create a fabulous Brunch all at home. Poached eggs, Hollandaise Sauce, carameised red onion chutney. Yummy... Hubby said it was MEGA Tips Any left over Hollandaise can be stored in a container with plastic on top so it doesn’t form a skin. Add your chutney ( or left over Hollandaise) to a ziplock bag . Pop it into the water after cooking your eggs. It will reheat whilst you plate it up. 16.01.2022 OH NO SCHOOL IS BACK TOMORROW! Who was like me and in a total panic today? I had a random thought at 11am that resulted in the realisation the the kids need school lunches and snacks prepacked not made on the fly during the day. Few hours later... 40 mini Pizzas 12 Homemade Hotdogs 84 bite sized sausage rolls 40 choc chip cookies 40 Anzac Biscuits I’m covered for the next few weeks.

14.01.2022 How to plan for a dinner party. Always start with dessert. I walked past pears at my local fruit shop and had to stop. Quick search on Cookidoo and I have my dessert chosen.... So drinks next. What goes with pears in winter. Mulled wine of course. Now that we have the theme set I need to think about what we will actually eat. Slow cook lamb with some roasted root vegetables and steamed greens. Every recipe is on Cookidoo so I have my meal plan and shopping list done in seconds. I love that I have made each element It makes it taste so much better. I also love that I was able to premake parts in readiness for the night so I’m not rushed. I laugh at the fact that I forget again to to take a picture of the main. I did remember at dessert. May need to blame the mulled wine for that it was so good. 11.01.2022 Do you love Sourdough? I love sourdough. I love to eat it, I love to make it as well. This week in my personal group Nepeanmixers we will be making our own sourdough. We will talk about where to grab ingredients, how to nurture or starter, create our first loaf together and then play with some discard recipes cause we really like to use up everything. 09.01.2022 Oh MY Tonight I had some pork spare ribs and thought I would just give this a go. Wow mind blown. The flavours are absolutely amazing. It looks terrible I know but that’s my fault for cutting the pork too small.... I added it to our stir fry just before serving.

I can whip up a batch in 20 minutes My jam is homemade with fresh strawberries in this can but there are so many varieties you can try and they are all so so good. The only dilemma we have is what do you add first the cream or the jam. now i have researched and in actual fact the diffence depends on which county in England you follow is it Cornwell or Devon? 07.01.2022 So I have come to realise I am addicted to Ricotta. Especially my homemade ricotta. I have always love Italian food as my friends all know in fact I grew up next door to an Italian family and I’m sure I actually ate there more than home. 04.01.2022 Crème Fraîche Apple Pie This was easy it smelt and tasted delicious. I didn't have Crème Fraîche but I did have light sour cream so that's what I used. ...
