21.01.2022 I’m all done with my latest commission! My client wanted me to recreate one of her favourite dresses in some beautiful knit fabrics. She also wanted me to hand over the pattern that I created from the dress as well. This is something I offer to all of my clients as I don’t believe the patterns I create for my clients don’t ‘belong’ to me and I don’t recreate the patterns for anyone other than the original client. 07.01.2022 Have you ever had an idea pop into your head and just ran with it? I recently went through my fabric stash because I was looking for something I was absolutely sure I still had. Turns out I didn’t but that’s ok . I found this fabric that I bought for a different project a long time ago and an idea just popped into my head for this split top and a faux leather belt. I honestly don’t know how or where I can even wear this yet but I loved just exploring my creativity and I’m c...urious to see where it will go from here. Key thing to remember is that by allowing my creativity to flow here, it will allow it to flow even easier in the future. I won’t automatically stifle it because I’m not ‘good enough’ or ‘no one would ever buy that’. It’s ok, this is just so I can stop stifling my creativity and let it flow to even bigger things in the future.
