07.01.2022 I had the pleasure of photographing a visiting colony of the cute little Gray Headed Flying Foxes recently. I stayed for a few hours and in that time they displayed many funny quirky personalities. Although this was a fairly large colony, the flying foxes are declining in numbers because of habitat clearing. They are so important to our Ecosystem. They are the only nocturnal Pollinators that disperse seeds to encourage Healthy Forrest growth of many important tree species..... 07.01.2022 Going through photos to enter into the Australian Photography Awards - APA is never an easy decision, but this year I decided to go through some of my travel photos & I entered this image from a village we drove past in Jordan heading to Petra. The harsh barren landscapes that went on as far as the eye could see. I was amazed to see so many of these little villages tucked away amongst the hills. So much respect for these communities that live here. It was definitely an eye opener and a place I’ll never forget Thankyou #APA2020 for liking this image enough to shortlist into the finals
