22.01.2022 I love when clients send through progress photos from their renovation! How good does the tile layout look at @silo.and.sun ‘s house!! Those terrazzo floor tiles are the hero in this room, so we decided to keep the wall tiles subtle in a white but play on different sizes. Around the vanity we used a smaller vertically laid tile, while around the shower and bath, we selected a larger white tile so there is less grout to clean

22.01.2022 A sneak peek of our latest St Kilda East new build! We worked with @katehansenphotography recently to capture all the beautiful details, and boy are we over the moon with the results! . This was one of our first Kosher kitchen’s my team worked on, and it sure does pack a lot of storage!! The Elba marble benchtop and splashback is the hero of the room. Stay tuned for the rest of the photos, we don’t want to give away too much too soon!

21.01.2022 Supplier in focus// This week we want to feature one of our many stone suppliers we love to work with! @glux stock some of the most incredible natural stone slabs and tiles that range from marble, quartzite and granite.... . If you are thinking of using a natural stone benchtop but hear about the stories people tell you about how hard it is to keep clean- do your research and understand that there are some great natural stone options out there that are quite easy to maintain! . For example- did you know that quartzite and granite are durable, extremely tough and less porous Plus when you think of natural stone- there are more options that just the white marble and dark vein! 21.01.2022 Want to hear a funny thing that happened to me today?! I was working away in my home office today and decided to warm up a coffee in the microwave before my next online consult. My husband was on a zoom call in our kitchen/dining area, so I had to be quiet.... Our microwave is in the pantry and I didn’t want to make a lot of noise, so I closed myself in the pantry while I waited for my coffee to warm up in the microwave. I then realised that the door handle was jammed and I was stuck in the pantry and now late for my next online consult!! Lucky I was able to jimmy the door open with a knife, all while being quiet not to disturb the meeting that was happening in the dining area and make it to my next meeting! Phhewwww I’d love to know if you have any funny working from home/lockdown stories you want to share...

20.01.2022 We are mailing these samples off to a client this week who is building a modern farmhouse in Gisborne. With a mix of soft greens and timbers, it balances out the darker architectural elements throughout the house. That is all that matters. Your home should make YOU feel good, and be a reflection of who you are. Not about whether it will date or if other people wont like it.... Self doubt will kill creativity so just go with it! See more

We used a muted colour palette here for our Warranwood project and injected deep navy to pop against the tan leather cushions. .... I have met so many amazing and supportive people along the way and continue to learn every. single. day! ... This was one of the first shoots I did with @katehansenphotography back in 2017. I was in the start up phase, setting up my website and branding and needed projects to showcase! So we used my house to style and show off my work. 05.01.2022 Yesterday I met my Sunshine clients @silo.and.sun out on site for the first time!! I couldn't believe it was the first time we met face to face!! It felt like I have known them for ages! We have been working together throughout lockdown all via Zoom. We managed to create a mood board and send out colour and material samples all remotely and boy was it fun! Our careful considered choices are now paying off, as you can see from the photos, the renovation is coming ...together so well! I just loved how excited and involved my clients have been throughout the process and have trusted and relied on my professional opinion.
