23.01.2022 WORLD CANCER DAY So much to say, but I’ve had chemo today so the brain is mush I took this image two weeks before my diagnosis. I had zero clue I had cancer, but felt compelled to create images of myself which I never do. Little did I know it would be one of the last photos of me with long hair, me with two breasts, me with all the innocents of life in tact. Cancer does not discriminate, young, old, healthy, unhealthy. ... I don’t have many regrets about life, but I do wish I lived a healthier lifestyle prior to being diagnosed. You see I’ve always been thin, I could eat what I want when I wanted without putting on weight. Did that fact cause cancer, probably not, but this is what happens when you get diagnosed. If you don’t carry any genetic predisposition- you can’t help but wonder why. With the stats stating that almost one in two will get a cancer diagnosis, I ask you this... What will you regret if that cancer diagnosis comes? Do you carry lots of stress? Do you lead an unhealthy lifestyle? Most importantly of all, have you ticked those boxes that bring you the most joy? Have you loved hard? Have you mended those relationships worth saving? No one knows when your time is up, but one day we will be faced with our own mortality. Unfortunately for many that time may come well before we are ready. So for this world cancer day, I ask you to ponder that thought for a while, then make 2020 a year for you to look inward at yourself to make sure you are doing everything you can to keep cancer away. Whilst also filling yourself up with an abundance of love #worldcancerday See more

22.01.2022 There is nothing I love more than photographing at a family property. However the weather gods were not on our side. We had rain, swarms of flies and far from the perfect conditions, but it didn't matter at all. This family are so filled with joy it just oozes out of them. Yvonne Snell Luke Snell

21.01.2022 As some of you already know - finally our family has had some great news we have been desperate for... treatment is working!!!! I won’t lie the road has been something from a horror film. It’s been the hardest leg so far. There have been many times I feared I wouldn’t be here to see the next Christmas, but on Friday we heard the words - the cancer has shrunk! With a bucket load of supplements some cancer killing chemo and some immunotherapy to try and teach my immune system... how to destroy cancer - it is all paying off. There has been many hours of research done to get where I am and an incredibly supportive army right behind me. I’ve employed the best team I can find. The money all of my biggest support crew has raised will fund a few immunos. After that it is still unknown as the company may still not fund. Crazy right ! But for now we aren’t worrying about money and celebrating the bloody amazing miracle it is. I was told Tuesday that for it to actually kill my cancer the stats were in the single digits - so how about that! For the next 9 weeks- treatment will continue as it has been - I will then repeat the PET scan and hopefully I will be closer to remission. As you know I stopped taking on clients as my treatments were just too unpredictable, but as we have our plan for the next 9 weeks - I’ll be opening some spots. They will be for set dates coordinated on my ‘off’ weeks. These are when I’m feeling my best. They will also be no further than 1hr from korumburra as travelling takes a toll on the body. I’ll post these dates tomorrow night - so please be on the lookout if you have been waiting to do a shoot with me. Thank you again for all your understanding, your kind words, your kind hearts and your generosity. We are so humbled and so blessed. the Lawler clan x

04.01.2022 Milo spam Some facts about Milo... - he must have body contact to sleep, not even beside the bed will do, he must be touching you somehow. He sleeps with his mum Charlotte - He cries if he can’t see someone - especially when Char is out of sight. - he is pretty clever so far, is beginning to chase his ball and slowly learning that toileting is done outside - not on the doona ! Lol - The whole family is in love with him - including me! Who would of thought!
