05.01.2022 To all my photography friends out there. If you are considering entering photographic competitions, please consider this. A while back I created a program called 79 to gold. Its about using photography competitions to improve your photography. For a long time, I have seen the disappointment that competition can bring, and is a big reason why we created this program in the first place. Competitions in photography are weird in that they are the opinion of the judge on the day.... Therefore, what wins today, might not win tomorrow and that can do our heads in at times. We want the process of getting the photo ready for competition to be the valuable part, not the accolades at the end. Anything above nothing is a bonus. Because times are really tough at the moment, this program is going to be made free to 1000 people. If you want in follow the link, or share it if you know people that might benefit from this. We are all finding life tough right now. This is our way of giving back to the community that we have been a part of for such a long time. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to benefit from this program, its designed for anyone from camera clubs, self-taught amateurs, right up to professional photographers wanting to get their head in a good space when competing.
