WHERE ARE YOU??? Phew, there you are. I am a self-confessed sook and I will follow you into every room until you sit so we can snuggle. It doesn’t take much to get my engine purring. Don’t worry, I will let you know if I’m hungry, lonely, tired or even just the slightest bit uncomfortable. I like a permanent warm lap to snuggle up on and wiggly toes to chase. Hi, I’m Marlow and my motto is sleep, play, eat, repeat! Food is good and playing is tiring, what more can I say. I am an independent kind of guy. I’m a quiet achiever but I’m not embarrassed to say that I do love to snuggle up to my brothers. I like a good cuddle when it suits me, but there is a time and a place! Roast chicken is very nice, and the stuff that hangs from beds is super fun to swipe. Running like a crazy floof is fun too, that probably explains why I like to sleep so much! I’m Billy, did you know that if you jump on the top of a backpack you can slide down it? It is soooo much fun. I have three brothers and we play that game a lot. I love playing with my brothers, but I get my purr on when I cuddle my foster family. You know what else I can do? I can hiss. I know - impressive hey? The boggley eyed dog I am sharing my foster home with looked at me. I mean how dare he, so I told him loud and clear. I think it’s good to talk about your feelings - I tell people when I’m hungry, tired or when I just need a bit of loving. Last, but not least, I’m Joey. Cuddle or play? Cuddle or play? I just can’t decide I like to cuddle AND I like to play! I am a confident kitty and always the first to explore. I have a wicked butt wiggle and I won first place in the 2020 Pounce Awards. I also like shoes... Shoes are great fun! I can hide in them AND chase the laces! Ok, I’ve made a decision... time to cuddle! Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs) We share our foster home with a small dog and grumpy old cat. We never see the old grump but the dog seems to be everywhere. He’s ok for a dog but we don’t get too close We really aren’t a fan - they all look dodgy to us. We would be happy to share our home with another kitty and would be ok with older kids that like to share their pillow, or maybe play backpack games or wiggly toes, but you can keep ya dog to yourself! Likes / Dislikes We love to play, eat and snuggle! We really don’t like it when it’s noisy, and we especially don’t like the vacuum... it’s a bit scary for big sooks like us. Our PURR-fect forever home would be somewhere not too noisy with slaves to pamper us, snuggle us and play with us whenever we want. Bones can cause serious complications and DEATH During an emergence surgery early this morning at The Society for Animals in Distress almost a kilogram of bones had to be removed from the stomach and intestine a 2 year Pitbull. This very loved pet is left fighting for his life through a simple act of ignorance. Bones can cause intestinal obstructions, choke, puncture holes through the intestines, fracture teeth and a multitude of other problems - it's just not worth it!!
