15.01.2022 Hello dear clients Due another lock down from tomorrow night I will continue to attend to your dogs and l suggest changes as follows: I will ring your doorbell or text/phone you to announce their arrival. Please allow your dog to come out the front door into the garden where I will greet them and take them into the mobile salon.... I will then contact you to advise they are finished and bringing the dog back into the garden so you can allow the dog back into your home. Social distancing will be maintained at all times. We know you love to chat and catch up with me but at this time we kindly ask you to refrain from face to face contact where possible. Payment can be left in an envelope in an appropriate spot for me to collect. If you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or have returned from overseas in the past fortnight or family members is sick we ask you to postpone your appointment. 13.01.2022 Hello clients As of 20th July I will be available to groom at these areas. Little river. Lara Avalon Corio Geelong Bannockburn and Teesdale I will only groom for regular clients In hot spot areas eg point cook Werribee ect and won’t be taking on new clients in hot spot areas I’m sorry for any inconvenience but I live with a child and elderly mother and our health is important. 06.01.2022 WARNING We are still seeing a number of Parvo cases since our last post. Please vaccinate your dogs Parvovirus is a deadly virus that attacks the ...intestines of infected dogs and results in severe vomiting and diarrhoea - to the point of needing intense hospitalisation, and even after treatment they may not survive. Affected dogs get seriously ill, often needing days in hospital and without any guarantee of recovery. Signs of parvo infection include lethargy, not eating, vomiting and diarrhoea (often bloody but not always). Prevention of this horrible disease is based around having your dog fully vaccinated - having all of the puppy vaccines done at the appropriate times and following up with annual vaccines and not allowing vaccines to lapse. If you have a puppy, it is essential that they are not allowed to socialise until all of their vaccines have been completed. See more
05.01.2022 Covid-19 Note = Safe plan for clients and myself Mel’s Dogtailing Day Spa is still in action but is now enforcing ... NO HUMAN CONTACT I say this in the nicest way possible, I don’t want to see any of you! We will catch up on all the latest when it’s all over, or just shoot me a message! The virus is spreading and I’m doing my absolute best to keep my business clean, stop the spread of infection, and keep everyones pets groomed in the process. Please have your dogs on lead ready to go before my arrival. Please leave clear access to your power point and water mains, so I can plug in without any hassles. Please let me know via text or Facebook prior to the groom what you would like done with your pet. The van will be sprayed wipe down with disinfectant after each household I visit. As for payment cash, please place the correct money inside of a zip lock bag(Lunch bag). Message me prior to the groom if you are unsure of the price. I understand completely if people are not comfortable with me coming during these times, so please let me know ASAP if you would like to cancel your upcoming appointments until this has all settled down. And for those customers of mine who own pets that cannot go without grooming, but aren’t in the best financial position right now due to losing their job, or those self employed who have lost out on work, please let me know, and we can arrange something. I will continue to work until the government decides that groomers need to close again, but for now, we can continue to operate, as long as we are abiding by the current health and safety rules in place. If you are unwell or have flu like symptoms, please cancel your appointment and seek medical treatment ASAP. Together, we can get through this. It’s not going to be forever, but we need to abide by the rules in place to stop the spread. Everyone please stay safe. I look forward to chatting with everyone again very soon!
