08.01.2022 Morning all!!!! Im really really hoping someone can help me with ANY info they might have. Last night at about 7.45pm myself and another lovely lady got hit b...y what we think was a male driver of a late model white Magna, on Quarry rd (Birkdale) at the intersection of Charles st. The driver of the car just kept driving, sped off down Charles St. Did not come back. My car will be a write off- not that it matters as Its just a car. Any footage from dash cam, info of seeing car or accident will be greatly appreciated. As this will be two different people having to pay excess on cars that did nothing wrong! How could someone just drive off and not check!!! Please if any Info feel free to pm if not want to disclose. Lets find him! 01.01.2022 Having trouble viewing this email? View Online TMR Banner (plain) Department of Transport and Main Roads Due to COVID-19, the Department of Transport and Main Roads has decided to cancel all practical driving tests for three months (subject to review), in the interests of health and safety for the community.... This change in service delivery is due to the high-risk nature of this activity when considering COVID-19 and the guidelines for social distancing and hygiene practices as recommended by Queensland Health. Customers who have scheduled practical driving tests will be notified that their test has been cancelled and will be advised of options for a refund. No new bookings will be accepted during this period and no exemptions will be granted. When practical driving tests become available in the future, customers who had their test cancelled will be sent information to help them rebook a test. We understand the impact that the cancellation of practical driving tests will have on the community and industry and this is not a decision taken lightly. Our number one priority is the safety of our staff and customers. We apologise for any inconvenience as Queensland responds to this unprecedented pandemic event.
