20.01.2022 Dear Valued Customer, Over the past several months the steel industry has been extremely volatile and our merchants and suppliers have had several price increases since December. Unfortunately, steel costs will continue to rise through 2021 due to a combination of factors demand exceeding supply, higher steel-making input costs, and higher logistical costs. Melsteel is continuing to receive notification of price increases across our product range from our suppliers and merc...hants, we expect that pricing will remain volatile and on an upward trend in the medium-term. Due to these constant increases, it is no longer viable for Melsteel to cover these increases, it is unfortunate that we will need to pass these costs onto our clients.
