09.01.2022 I all, Just an update please keep in mind that these pots are ONLY to be used for melting wax (all types) do not use for SOAP making. they are not designed for this type of product

09.01.2022 Those that use these type of pot. have had some asking the right way to set, as the temp dial on these type regardless of brand, have only numbers it is a guide only. Start with setting on 2, keep a close eye as wax melts then turn down a little until you have the correct temp for the wax type you are using. the amount you have in the pot will change the setting. when you have it on the right spot mark on dial with texta this way you will have a reference point for future use. Soy will melt lower than palm, beeswax will melt higher and if using paraffin will melt lower than all above. hope this helps. I have found a digital type thermometer works the best as the temp is in .1 increments

07.01.2022 merry christmas to all , have a good holiday and happy new year. rest up for a bit to get ready to do it all again in the new year

04.01.2022 As with everythink sunbeam in there wisdom have changed the designe of the temp control of the new pots. They now have min, medium and high on the gauge. This will make it a bit differant to adjust but same process as before. Start with 1kg of wax put on the high position of minimum,ie just before the medium mark and as is melts test the temp with thermometer
