22.01.2022 Just over a week since our AGM and we caught up with newly elected MFNC President Brian McNabb for an update.

22.01.2022 At last week’s AGM, Jason Hurst was nominated for Life Membership of the Melton Football Netball Club. Hursty has given many years of service to the club, firstly as a player and in recent times as a committee member where he has made a significant contribution to our fundraising and facilities. On game day he’s probably bailed you up for a ‘best on ground’ or ‘first goal’ ticket, providing vital funds for the club each year. He has played a major part in our electronic sco...reboard project and been instrumental in liaising with council regarding the plans for the new clubrooms and front oval at MacPherson Park, ensuring the facilities meet our needs for decades to come. Well done and thanks for your contribution to the Bloods Hursty!

19.01.2022 Many of our members and supporters, and supporters from other BFNL clubs may not have been to MacPherson Park for a while. The City of Melton have put together this video showing some of the new facilities that have been built in the last 12 months which both the Bloods and visiting teams can look forward to using in 2021.

12.01.2022 Our Punting Competition is on again tomorrow at Moonee Valley with 9 races starting at 12.55. Get your tips in by 12.45 for a great day of racing and a win for the best punter. This will be the last comp before Xmas so get your bets in and win some extra dollars for Xmas. Happy punting to all.

11.01.2022 We'd like to advise our members that the AGM of the Melton Football Netball Club has been postponed until Wednesday 9th December at MacPherson Park at 7.30pm (hopefully following football training). For those who aren't aware, our President Greg Davis is at home recovering after coming off second best with a ladder and the postponement allows him enough time to be back in action and chair the meeting. We should also be in a position to hold the meeting in person at the club as well with some changes to gathering limits hopefully this week.

04.01.2022 The Melton Bloods are pleased to have Lachlan Phillips joining us for the 2021 season. Lachie is a Melton local who crosses to us from Melton Central where he has played 27 senior games across the past three seasons. He also spent 2019 on the list at the Western Jets and has come through all the representative programs at younger age groups. He'll be 20 years old by the time the 2021 season rolls around, and at around 190cm and 90kg already he will have a presence in our midfield and defence. We look forward to Lachlan joining the club - please make him welcome.

02.01.2022 The Melton Bloods are looking for a coach for our Under 19 boys football team in 2021. The club has a talented group of young footballers who we want to develop for senior football and need an enthusiastic and dedicated coach to lead the team next year.
