25.01.2022 Unfortunately its looking like a fair amount of rain on Sunday... So we really dont have any choice...but to pull the pin early enough to allow people to plan t...heir weekend. Everyone can have Sunday off !!! Sorry people but we cant control the weather and please understand we want to run more than you do.... On a good note, the weather is slowly getting better so well try again on 22nd September.

20.01.2022 We had the pleasure of working on Vics pretty 57 Fairlane eliminating a brake issue he had and we were able to rectify it for him by replacing some pretty ordinary workmanship done by the previous owner during the restoration of the car . All fixed now drives like a new car and stops perfectly and special thanks to Andrew Tribe (Werribee brake and clutch ) cars ready to be picked up tomorrow ready for enjoyment .

19.01.2022 Update for today's Fast Friday We did get a nice wetting earlier today and its just about dry... Luckily the clouds are high and breaking up quickly. So as long as we dont get another wetting in the next hour or two were ALL GO!!! Keep you all posted.

13.01.2022 THUMBS UP A huge Thumbs Up to Frank from the Melton Motor Wreckers!!! Every time i need any mechanical work or advice regarding my car, Frank is the only person i will go to!! ... Today, i wanted to get the car booked in to get the fanbelt looked at, as it was squeaking bad, he asked if i was busy, i wasn't, so it was looked at and fixed there and then!!! I mentioned in passing that 3 of the 4 speakers in my car weren't working, so he and his mechanic pulled them out, had a look and replaced them there and then, meaning for the first time in about 3 or 4 years, i was able to listen to the radio properly. I cannot recommend Melton Motor Wreckers enough!!! The only mechanic I'll go to!!

It was stolen last night 20/01 at 9.32pm from work at Woolworths.. we were parked at the back of Coburns cent...ral by the Melton car wash and back of 7/11. It was picked up on a unamed white tow truck so was obviously planned. It is a Red Hsv Clubsport R8 sedan 2008 rego number 1DD4XH. Please share around!!! Melton area. See more

10.01.2022 For all the people wondering if we are still going ahead or not for this weekends Sunday Funday 8th September Drags, its again not as promising weather wise. ...Well make a call later tomorrow either way, depending on the forecast (which we hope gets better). On the bright side, the weather is slowly getting better and no doubt, well get a break...agggrrrrr... 07.01.2022 Well today was dee day for Frank and Peter Trimboli who took delivery of their 66 Mustang which we have had in our possession for the last 5 mths for a complete restoration and assembly of all mechanicals, interior and body panel alignment. We removed the engine and sent to Race comp motorsports who rebuild the little 289 with new alloy heads baby camshaft and a little comp for the extra little grunt . We repainted the engine bay while waiting ... Fitted all the trim , a/c unit and all new body and window rubbers The car has come up a treat and was a surprise to Frank tonight to have it delivered to his doorstep unexpectedly organised by his family . On a last note we would like to thank Frank and Peter for entrusting Melton Motor wreckers for the opportunity to assemble their Mustang and wish you all the best in the future and hope you enjoy your car .

With the temp being a low 13* (feels like 7*) and getting more little sprinkles, its just not ...going our way and would just torcher you and us all afternoon and evening.
