25.01.2022 During this COVID-19 lockdown, the centre has been providing books, games and puzzles to people who attend our food parcel distribution on Fridays and need some entertainment for themselves or their families while stuck at home. This has proved extremely successful, and we are now running out of children's books, as well as games and puzzles. If you have any you would like to donate, that would be fantastic and much appreciated. Donations can be left at our front gate, or brought to the front door personally on Friday mornings when staff are in the office. Please stay safe, well and, of course, entertained. We're almost on the other side of this, and look forward to seeing you sooner rather than later.

25.01.2022 Due to the reduction in COVID-19 cases, there have been some changes to the hours of operation at the Melton Fever Clinic. Even though infection numbers are going down, it's extremely important that nobody lets their guard down. Keep wearing your masks and washing your hands, keep a safe distance from people who aren't a part of your household, and please, if you show any symptoms, no matter how minor they might seem, get tested and self-isolate!

25.01.2022 If there's one thing that can be said about recent times, it's that life has become incredibly uncertain in many different ways and things have felt a little 'up in the air'. One way to gain some clarity and reassurance is by reading tarot cards, which you can learn how to do in our upcoming Tarot Card Reading for Beginners course. In this 6-week course (Thursday 20 May to 24 June, 7:00 to 9:00pm), you'll discover how to develop your intuition and confidence as you decipher y...our deck of Rider-Waite cards to answer life's pressing questions. Being a course for beginners, no prior knowledge or experience is required; however, you will need to bring your own deck of tarot cards to each class. (If you don't have any of your own already, these can be purchased from the centre.) The total fee for this course is just $80.00, or $75.00 if you have a current concession card. To reserve your place in this life-changing learning experience, or find out more about the course, contact our office on 9747 8576 or [email protected].

01.01.2022 Is anyone else getting hungry, or just us? Students in Sallie's weekend Croquembouche and Caramel workshop learned how to make their own custard-filled choux pastry profiteroles, then coat them in glossy caramel and assemble them into the famous tower shape known as the croquembouche. As you can see, they did incredible work! We love seeing what our students achieve in their classes and courses, and hope they're all just as proud of themselves as we are of them.

01.01.2022 R U OK Day is next Thursday, and Linking Melton South are running a competition! Details on how to enter are within the original post.
