22.01.2022 Just registered for my training in craniosacral therapy for children. Treating children with CST is very effective and one of the things I have been wanting to do for a while now, yay :) Here's a nice explanation of it's effectiveness http://www.cranioworld.com//craniosacral-therapy-with-chi/

20.01.2022 Thank you for liking this page - I have now completed my Cert IV in Massage Therapy & continue to train in CST. I have insurance & am seeing clients at discounted rates until October. As I build my practice, I will start to promote the business more. Part of the plan is to specialize in people who've experienced PTSD & also to offer a mobile service. Keep an eye out for updates in a few months Thank you :)

19.01.2022 Description Massage Therapy is a pleasant and safe method of alleviating muscle pain, enhancing movement and aiding circulation. Massage therapists utilize techniques such as the broad stroking of muscles, targeted manipulation of muscle fibres, and, gentle stretching and joint mobilization. Full-body massage usually involves the client lying down on a massage table, commonly for an hour, while the therapist massages different body parts using oil. People generally find massa...ge to be a relaxing experience. You should feel little pain during the course of the session. For particular problems (such as headaches, muscle strains or sport injuries), a course of treatment may be recommended (such as fortnightly or monthly sessions). Massage therapy is non-sexual and the client’s privacy is respected at all times. At Melt, Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is also offered, either separately (for an hour) or within a massage treatment. CST involves the gentle manipulation of joints and fascia (the fibre covering muscles and organs), particularly on the cranium (head) and sacrum (base of the spine). CST is effective for easing headaches and migraines, calming the nervous system, improving sleep and treating various joint and muscular problems. Recipients lie fully clothed on a massage table while the therapist does gentle compression over various body parts. Clients generally describe having CST as being a deeply meditative and relaxing experience. Massage Therapy and CST are often compared to Osteopathy. All have similar origins and holistic approaches, that is, the body is viewed as a whole system and thus good health is seen as resulting from a balance between different parts of that system. While Massage Therapy and CST involve gentle and specific techniques, Osteopathy incorporates a wide range of techniques. These include muscle manipulation, soft tissue massage, stretching, joint mobilization, exercises, strain-counter-strain and functional technique. Osteopathy is often used to treat various mechanical dysfunctions in joints, muscles, nerves and ligaments.
