14.01.2022 Today we hosted the 5th Inter University Taikai. Students from Melbourne University, Monash, RMIT and VU participated and displayed excellent performance in their shiai. We are confident that you will represent Victoria well at the Uni Nationals in September! Here are the results from today; Men’s kyu individuals... 1. A Vo - RMIT 2. J Jason - RMIT 3. 13.01.2022 Over the weekend, Muken participated in the 2019 Victorian Kendo Championships. Once again, our members performed outstandingly and we managed to clinch 6 golds, 4 silvers and 1 bronze - we managed to hit our goal of 6 cups!!! (Whew ) We would like to thank our instructors who have given us their time and guidance, and also to all members of the kendo community who have trained with us and helped us learn. To our first years - next year is your turn! We are able to perform w...ell because each year we have dedicated members like yourselves who help us grow stronger as a club collectively. 12.01.2022 We held our annual awards night & dinner yesterday! Hopefully everyone had a great time, and maybe you’ll have better luck with your post-keiko hair in the following year. Get some tips from Richard 10! Thank you to all club members who made this year such a fun year, and thank you to all the senseis who have continued providing us with your guidance so we can improve as a club together. Next week will be the last two training sessions of the year, but we will be back on 6th Jan 2020. See you then! Let’s make the following year an awesome one again
