24.01.2022 Heres a perfect example of the healing process of microblading. During the healing process its normal for the microbladed strokes to completely lose their pigment or appear very light, on the 3rd or 4th day the skin starts to peel and may feel itchy but its important not to scratch or pick your eyebrows. Eyebrows can appear quite dark straight after the procedure, this is because pigments used in microblading are made up of liquified powder so during the healing process,... the body will gradually absorb the liquid from the pigment, leaving only the dry component, creating a lighter shade. 7 days after treatment, eyebrows will heal 40-50% lighter, 15% thinner and the colour will blend in naturally with the eyebrows hair colour. Healing is fully complete after 28 days which is when the touch up is performed to fill in pigment that has been lost. Aftercare contributes to 70% of your microblading results. It is very important that the skin is well healed and in order to achieve this, it is recommended to carefully follow the aftercare instructions.
