23.01.2022 No guesses. Wasnt easy, Citroen Traction Avant, circa 1948. The Gallic take on gangster style!

22.01.2022 The end of a quiet week. Thinking caps on, 1st correct post after midday today will score a 6 pack of their fav beer for the weekend. Tell us the make and model of the car, and on a scale of 1 to10, how frustrated we were (just Dallas actually...) to sort this exhaust out! Have a great weekend!

21.01.2022 We dont photo every car that comes through, but we do like to get a shot of the cool, the unusual, the different...

21.01.2022 Typically, 1 hour of work and 2 hours of admiring and talking.... Thanks for bringing this one in, we dont see many XU-1s around anymore

20.01.2022 A rich variety of jobs this week

19.01.2022 In and around the shop this month ...

18.01.2022 Coincidentally being Bastille Day.... Like a bad haircut (party in the front, business at the rear), these two represent the old and the new. Dallas fabricated a new exhaust around the long range fuel tank in the 2016 Landcruiser in the time it took me to glue in a straight pipe on the 1952 Citroen 2CV.....

17.01.2022 Just some of the vehicles we get in to our shop. The ability to custom make exhausts is what makes us stand out from others.

16.01.2022 Shocker of the Week Tradies ute, grossly overloaded at the back. Rear brakes worn through the linings, and grinding the brake drums out. Ground down so far, the wheel cylinder popped out = brake fluid lost = no brake pedal! I had to use the handbrake to slow this thing down...... Get them checked!

15.01.2022 Rat-rod tip #174 - a battery clamp can be successfully re-used as a clutch actuator...

13.01.2022 For the weekend..... The first person to correctly guess the make and model of the car (pictured) we had on the hoist will earn themselves a six pack of their favourite beer. SWAGs close 6pm AWST......

12.01.2022 Winter has arrived. Its cold outside, and not much better in the shop. So until it warms up, were offering free brake and exhaust checks (gives us a chance to warm our cold hands...!) Book in, call ahead or drop by. Well put your car on the hoist and show you whats what.

11.01.2022 Matt's original VF coupe, fitted extractors and 2" exhaust. We loved the patina on this thing, the only thing wrong with it was it wasn't mine....

10.01.2022 That noise you hear when you step on the brake pedal..... Its not going to get any cheaper, get them inspected...

10.01.2022 A sports Mini we were tasked to quieten down...

09.01.2022 Matts original VF coupe, fitted extractors and 2" exhaust. We loved the patina on this thing, the only thing wrong with it was it wasnt mine....

09.01.2022 A surprisingly robust muffler repair, material probably cost as much as a new can...

09.01.2022 Awesome Retro Rig. Whoever can correctly guess the supplier of the camper body (apparently it was a factory option in the 70s...) will be chugging 6 of their favourite beers this weekend. Original condition, this needed a new muffler before a pass over the pits. By now, its on an around Australia odyssey.....

09.01.2022 Custom extractors for the shop rig. Dallas is chomping at the bit to tig up the stainless steel system.

08.01.2022 Fridays Guess - to win a 6 pack of your favorite (beer!) for the weekend, have a go at identifying the car attached to this indicator. Coming into summer and the school holidays, its a good time to get your brakes and exhaust checked. Stop by for a chat, we can put your car on the hoist, and show you anything that may need attention.

08.01.2022 Out with the old, and in with the new.... Lovely note from this classic Holden shape

07.01.2022 A day late... The end of a wet and miserable week, the only photo taken when the sun was shining! Whoever correctly identifies the emblem (Make and model) will score a six pack of their favourite beer (past winners not eligible...)

03.01.2022 Spot the fault with this alloy wheel We hear it on a weekly basis ... "dont fix it, its only a work car"... this will ring hollow when component failure causes an accident that puts the owner out of work, or crashes into "a family car"...

01.01.2022 The "How Not To...." photos. The identity of the vehicle is not disclosed to protect the innocent. Just an idea of some of the wrongs we get the opportunity to make right
