25.01.2022 Happy World Teachers Day! the theme for World Teachers Day in 2020 is a Bright Future. The Melville SHS Executive team certainly think it's bright. Thank you to all teachers who make Melville SHS the school of choice for the local and wider community!

25.01.2022 The Share the Dignity #Pink box is a vending machine that dispenses free packs of six tampons and two pads to those in need. Share the Dignity supply the products in the vending machine, install the machine and keep it supplied with free products. Melville SHS have been lucky enough to be the recipients of a brand new #Pinkbox located in our Student Services building. Thanks to all staff who helped implement this great initiative!

15.01.2022 The first School Board Meeting and P&C Meetings for Term 4 will be taking place on November 2nd. The School Board Meeting will commence at 5:30pm and the P&C Meeting will be taking place afterwards, starting at 7:30pm.

11.01.2022 Last week eager students participated in the famous Melville Senior High School Spelling Bee! The Spelling Bee took place during lunchtimes, and today Spellers were called to the library for the presentation ceremony. Overall winners are: 1st place overall: Abbie Barrett (Year 7) 2nd place overall: Mason Ward (Year 10)... 3rd place overall: Hannah Barrett (Year 7) Students were also issued with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies based on a combination of word difficulty and year group. Well done to all staff and spellers involved!

08.01.2022 The results of the Future Problem Solving Championships were announced over the weekend, and Team Melville performed incredibly well! Melville placed top 6 in the nation for the Presentation of Action Plans in the Senior Division, and two of the four competing students had individual wins as well. https://www.melville.wa.edu.au/problem-solved-future-probl/
