23.01.2022 In a Social Media Session yesterday to plan out my own content for the month, we were given a list of some fun/relevant days of the year for December. I realised that although I use these, there are so many "Days of the Year". Literally every day is a "Day of" something. While, I wouldn't recommend using them every day, they can be a fun way to show your audience a little more about you or a great way to create some engagement or awareness for a cause relevant to your audience. Do you use "Days of the Year" in your Socials?

Sign up to your email list in excahange for an optin/freebie/lead magnet Make a booking in your calendar Sign up for a course or training session Get a special discount It is usually only found through a specific marketing campaign and although can be created through your website, does not show up on their menus (or have the menu show on the page). 20.01.2022 It was my Business Birthday this week! I don’t usually celebrate things like this, but after some reflection I realized how far my ‘little’ business has come, especially in this last crazy year. So, I bought myself a balloon, poured myself a drink and let myself be proud, even if just for a minute. I started this work to help keep our family afloat after the birth of our daughter and now, after a few years, another child, a global pandemic and plenty of ups and downs in bet...ween, not only am I still here, but I have grown so much. So what are some things I’ve learnt in the last 4 years? Growing a Business is as much a personal development journey as a career move, possibly more. You can build a business around your kids, but you have to be willing to put in some hard work and have some very understanding people in your life. Nothing is fixed and everything will change, you have to learn to go with the flow. My kids cannot go 20 minutes without a snack and will ALWAYS interrupt a Zoom call. But most of all? None of this would exist without some major love and support Thank you to all my followers, current and previous clients, family, friends and those in my business community. Without you, I would not be able to do what I love work behind the scenes to help other women in business make an impact in their clients lives!

17.01.2022 Know your Numbers! You hear it all the time, but do you actually know how to check? Facebook - Go to your Business Page and click on Insights in the top menu bar. This will give you an overview and you can then click on posts in the left menu. You will see a table that tells you the reach and engagement of each of your posts. Instagram - Go to your profile and click on the three lines in the top right corner. Click on Insights and under Content there is an option to "See A...ll" posts. There are three drop downs at the top where you can choose post type, date period and interaction (Reach, Engagement etc). Have a look at your Insights and make a note of what does well. Then plan to post more of the same. Extra Tip: I recommend looking at this weekly to start with

08.01.2022 Did you start email marketing, then it fell to the wayside in the busy-ness of business? Don't worry, you are not alone. It is such a common thing. but what do you do now? Well, first thing is, try not to leave it too much longer. Email marketing is such a valuable way to get your message out there, so try not to keep putting it off.... That first email, or re-engagement email, should to be packed with value. Feel free to acknowledge that you haven't emailed in a while, but don't make over the top apologies. Provide some massive value, maybe a freebie piece, then... Ask what your audience wants to see. It will give you some motivation and content ideas when you start to see responses coming in.
