10.01.2022 How did your club change in 2020? The thing we noticed was communication. In particular, how clubs communicated online. Communication has always been something that drives Member Jungle to improve its features but 2020 gave us a whole new set of challenges and boy did we take it in our stride.... Clubs everywhere suddenly had to communicate purely online and what seemed like a burden then, actually paved the way for now. Websites were fixed and updated, online events skyrocketed, email newsletters were back and online chat rooms became really popular for many membership organisations. Many people were struggling in lockdown without their normal human interactions, so the need to communicate and help keep your members engaged and constantly updated was more crucial than ever.

07.01.2022 Our resident runner and Web Developer, Melissa Robertson has done us proud yet again, but this time she had our Technical Operations Director, Jeff Pond alongside! Melissa and Jeff took on the the GNW 100 earlier this month, organised by the Terrigal Trotters Running Club, and taking place on the Great North Walk Trails. The race is a true test of stamina and endurance, passing through some rugged and spectacular terrain, and is a demanding challenge for all runners.... We are proud that both Jeff and Melissa finished the as the winners of their divisions. Jeff competed in the GNW Ultras 100km, and finished as 1st place male, completing the race in 14 hours, 30 minutes and 56 seconds. Melissa tackled the GNW Ultras 100 miles (160km), and won 1st place female, running for an astounding 31 hours, 12 minutes and 37 seconds. What a fantastic effort from both Melissa and Jeff! Congratulations on such a great achievement.
