25.01.2022 Dear Parents and Caregivers, Students in Room 15 and 16 are required to go to school as normal tomorrow morning. They will be travelling to and from the Middleback Theatre by bus tomorrow and no longer need to meet at Civic Park at 9am. Please make sure your child returns their consent form or you write a note giving them permission to attend as all students in Room 15 and 16 will be going to the Nunga Screening. Many Thanks,... 25.01.2022 Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, the e have been told to minimise parents and volunteers from entering the site where possible. As a result of this, our school gates will remain locked until 3:10pm and students will need to be dropped off/picked up from the gates. We have a staff member on duty every day to ensure the safety of all students at our site.
23.01.2022 Congratulations to Georgia Cartwright who was presented with her Children’s Week Award this morning in Adelaide. Georgia received her award for the outstanding work she did to get Lids for Kids introduced at MOPS. Well done Georgia we are all very proud of you!
18.01.2022 I have just been updated by the Instructor In Charge of school swimming lessons with the latest developments regarding swimming and unfortunately it looks as though we will be unable to go ahead. We had been hoping that we may have been able to commence on Tuesday. This is a direction from the Whyalla Rec & Leisure Centre manager.
16.01.2022 Students and staff had a ball dressing up for Bookweek. Here are some photos of some of the winning students and our staff!
16.01.2022 Dear Parents and Caregivers, Just a friendly reminder to ask parents to stay out of the corridors at drop off and pick up times where possible. This will ensure everyone’s safety and well-being. We appreciate your cooperation in this.
09.01.2022 Dear Parents and Caregivers, The Colour Run is finally here! Students are allowed to wear white tomorrow in anticipation of the Colour Run tomorrow afternoon. This means that they will not have to get changed. All students will receive a pair of sunglasses and coloured headband. Students will be required to wear the sunglasses for the duration of the Colour Run to protect their eyes. At the end of the day students will be dismissed from outside to prevent them tracking colour...s back through the classrooms. A course will be set up in the school yard and students will receive a Zooper Dooper when they have finished. Due to COVID restrictions parents and family are not able to attend. We appreciate your support and understanding with this. We hope that this will become an annual event and families will be able to attend next year. Congratulations on the effort all students have put into fundraising for this event and look forward to announcing the total raised at the end of the day. Hopefully the wind will die down tomorrow and the students can enjoy the afternoon. See more
09.01.2022 Dear Parents and Caregivers, The Bookweek Parade will go ahead this morning but it will be modified and take place in the library. Due to COVID restrictions and limited space available we will be unable to have any parents in the library. We thank you for your understanding and will try and post as many pictures as we can on the Facebook page.

03.01.2022 Dear Parents And Caregivers, Thank you all for your cooperation and helping us to adhere to the guidelines at drop off and pick up times. We appreciate this may be difficult for some students, but we are always happy to support our students and families and do what is best for them, making allowances if we need to. Thanks, Jenny
