It’s a special time where we honor the memory of those that have been lost far too soon whilst also raising awareness for this very special cause. Over the years, I have grown quite fond of October and all that it represents. I love seeing the love that others have for the children/babies they have lost, and how there are now so many wonderful organisations both large and small dedicated to raising awareness for Pregnancy & Infant Loss. 10.01.2022 Today I got the keys to my new place, it’s officially moving in day! I’m spending the weekend running back and forth between the old house & the new house and then have the movers coming on Monday to take care of the bigger items. I just keep telling myself that I need to keep my eyes on the prize. Yes I am leaving the home where my babies were conceived, carried and that I came home to with empty arms, many times over. Yes I have to downsize. Yes the new place is smaller.... But I can’t afford surrogacy without some sacrifice and so this is part of the process. I have already cried several times today. 04.01.2022 I just ordered flowers for Noah’s 2nd Angelversary tomorrow. Oh how I wish that I was organising his birthday instead. I really miss being able to head to the florist in person to select flowers for our babies. It’s just not the same placing an order online. I’m always nervous that the flowers that will turn up won’t be right. I guess it’s not that dissimilar to if Noah was still here with us. The Wave of Light begins at 7:00pm in each individual's respective time zone. Beginning at the International Date Line and circumnavigating the globe, candles burn brightly for a period of at least one hour in observation. The result is a continuous chain of light... spanning and illuminating the globe for a 24-hour period in honour and remembrance of our loved and longed for babies.
