25.01.2022 More progress on my drawing. . . my bull-dozers are complete. Now to get into the coal

24.01.2022 IN MEMORY & TRIBUTE TO TREVOR FLEETWOOD . . . Today I have completed a graphite portrait of my father-in-law, Trevor Fleetwood to go along side the portrait I did of his beloved wife, Val. I hope I have captured Trevor’s happiness & pride in this drawing. He had quite a fabulous sense of humour & was always a great one for a joke. I have wonderful memories of Trevor & I hope it shows here. Besides his love of working with wood, cars, boats, the sea, classical music & a bee...r, Trevor’s main love was his wife, 5 children & their families. 7 years ago, we didn’t just lose Trevor, we also lost his wealth of knowledge & stories of Gladstone. Forever in our hearts IF ANYONE WISHES TO HAVE A COPY OF THIS PORTRAIT OF TREVOR, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

24.01.2022 This graphite portrait commissioned by Karen has pushed me & my skills. I put it on the back burner for a while but today I completed it. The buyer & I are very chuffed with the end results. Gary, who passed away last year, & his son Josh both enjoyed visits to The Grand Canyon & on Karen’s request that is where I drew them. Three photos went into this drawing.I do hope when Josh receives this gift, it helps with the loss of his Dad.

11.01.2022 Completion of commissioned A2 pet portrait with Polychromos coloured pencils I think Saige has turned out quite beautiful After first 2 photos, there is a series of shots of the drawing’s progress. I find the customer likes to see photos of their art piece, giving them an insight of how the drawing has developed

08.01.2022 Here is my latest A3 (quite large) graphite art piece titled ‘Pushing Coal At RG Tanna’ which I did from a photo Graham took at work. I have entered it in GPC’s Paint the Port competition. Due to the unprecedented times that face us with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no face to face exhibition.
