17.01.2022 I play MemoryLink to my husband, who has dementia, every night as he goes to bed. His face lights up, we hold hands for a while, a big smile comes on his face, and he goes calmly off to sleep. MemoryLink is not only bringing him joy, but it is a great comfort to me as well.

16.01.2022 MemoryLink came about as the result of observing a church friend who sang the old hymns with great joy even though she had advanced dementia. This inspired a group of devoted Christians from Pennant Hills Uniting Church led by Dr Fenton Sharpe to produce and distribute MemoryLink.

15.01.2022 Even after my friend could no longer communicate with anyone in any way because of advancing dementia, he still sang along joyfully with the hymns and choruses on MemoryLink. It was his last means of communication. Praise God.

02.01.2022 The MemoryLink team undertook an Australian-wide research survey to compile the most popular and memorable hymns and sacred songs from the mid 1900’s that would best resonate with elderly Australians. The result is a collection of 30 Hymns, 30 Children’s songs and 40 short meditations including 61 Bible readings and 12 prayers. It plays for 8 hours.
