In celebration for spooky month here is my 2nd horror styled self portrait. Big thank you to all that liked and commented on my last horror styled portrait. No animals were harmed in the making of that particular image. I used a latex heart prop and made my very own fake blood Sharing my Devil self portrait ahead of my usual time tonight. With total facial manipulation as well as painting my whole face and torso with black body paint to create this particular image. This was the original and weird idea I had for these close up and abstract self portraits. I also wanted to put a funny spin on it too. Because I definitely give myself the creeps!! Eden’s words......Once every few years our skies are graced by the magic of a rare blue moon. A blue moon is a full moon that occurs twice in one month, causing there to be 13 moons in a year instead of the usual 12. The 13 moon calendar is one of natures sacred rhythms that captures the fascination of moon lovers alike. . This statement necklace features a large facetted silver crescent moon lined with a row of 13 gemstones that represent the 13 moon calendar. Each of the 13 gemstones are meticulously set by hand and secured with a total of 50 claws, with each claw being painstakingly handcrafted and individually soldered in place. The crescent moon is uniquely textured with lunar craters and crosshatched details that give it the appearance of an ancient relic. Inspiration for this design draws on depictions of the moon found in alchemical manuscripts, as well as the art nouveau movement. See more

Well here is my follow up image of my Santa Muerte piece Inspired by Stefan’s amazing digital painting of his Grim Reaper. I really loved the idea of all the different arms in shot holding pieces and it definitely won’t be the last time I do this effect. 18.01.2022 Hi everyone sorry I’ve been abit quiet on here recently. I will have a new self portrait image to share with you all on Sunday night, so stay tuned for that one. But I’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes doing some commercial work photography related, for a dear friend of mine. As well as my first ever trade piece for another amazing jewellery designer based in New Zealand. So once the new collection is released, I’ll be sharing those images with you all. I do have some amazing things coming up. Doing my first ever promotional shoot for an amazing death metal band. Plus I’m investing in two new lighting set ups to further improve my work. I’m changing things up this year branching off to do more emotive, dark and raw portraiture. All monochrome images. Mainly about my subjects and their faces alone. I’ve been really wanting to really branch out and learn new skills. Of course I’ll still be continuing on with my dark highly conceptualised composition images. But I’m also just wanting to change things up a bit. I really want to learn more about the technical side of light and pick up some new skills. But please be patient with me. It continuously goes through the cycle of transformation, death, rebirth by rising from.the ashes through the fire. One lifetime of a phoenix represents 50 times approximately the life span of a mortal human being . As a powerful spiritual totem, it is the ultimate symbol of strength and renewal . It is both a fire and sun symbol, wherein its whole life span is represented by a single day. It dies when it sets each night and is reborn when rising the next morning . . . . Tonight I share something a little bit different to my usual style. Here is my creative self portrait being the symbol of the Phoenix rising up from adversity. Rising up from the ashes. I found this porcelain doll at an op shop here and decided to custom paint it to make it look somewhat creepy. So I repainted the eyes, her face. Her clothes and added a wig I had restyled from a previous shoot. . I then thought of using it for this conceptual idea. The idea of it controlling me and me being it’s puppet as a role reversal. Here is my very first post for 2021!! I decided very late last year that I’d be doing all Joker film characters. This is my JOKER based on Jared Leto. I do plan to do Heath Ledgers. 10.01.2022 Well I’ve got some exciting news to announce to you all. Here is my first cover for 2021 for the amazing Necromantic Magazine. A spiritual based magazine in the UK featuring my image on the front cover as well as more inside and a small feature of my work. This is a seasonal magazine and this is their summer edition set to drop in early June 2021. You’ll also see future editions with my work featured also. So I’m extremely excited to be a part of this new venture with Jade from Necromantic and grateful to be on this journey with her. Thank you so much again Jade for trusting me. You can’t take away my bleeding heart is about being hurt, feeling that overwhelming pain one feels, at lots of different stages throughout life. Unfortunately I feel things more than most. I have a huge heart and care deeply for those who are around me. Things have become abundantly clearer about who I am, as a person, this year. And I think for the first time in a long time, I’m happy with what I’ve learnt, even though it’s been one of the toughest years on so many levels for me. I am at peace with what I’ve learnt and who I’ve become as a person. And for that part most of all, I’m incredibly grateful. We all know how life can throw us huge curve balls and 2020 has definitely done that. One phrase has been echoing in my head from when it all started. It’s from Donnie Darko 2020 can go suck a f***! What I do know is, that for all of us, despite its challenges, its hurt, its heartache, our losses, our grief, our pain, our obstacles. We will get through this.It’s important, more than ever before, to be kind, to connect, to reach out, to empathise, to nurture, to love, to talk to each other. We are all human and we have a need to connect with each other. And now even more so, on a global scale, it’s never been so much more important. So stay safe everyone, stay connected and make sure you reach out to your loved ones. I’ll leave you with a quote from radio show I listen to on Triple R our local community radio station here. A forest is made up of a large number of individual trees; the branches of each one link together and combine their life force to provide a home for thousands of different species of flora and fauna . . . . Surrounded by beautiful mountain ash or redwoods? I’m really missing being able to explore or being surrounded by nature and our local and native wildlife. It will be my first point of call once restrictions ease here. This piece is special to me for a couple of reasons. One is I have Celtic ancestry but also this features my beautiful husband. Being the amazing horticulturist he is, Neil has taught me so much more about nature. Learning to appreciate the beauty of trees, flowers and watching things grow. When I first wanted to do this creative piece, I was basing it on the words shadow and light. A key element featured in the DARK tv series. So the good or evil. The hero or villain. Angels or demons. Darkness or light. One can’t be without its counterpart. I wanted it more to relay our internal struggles we face within ourselves. Hands interwoven to show the inner struggle and the fight with either elements throughout different times in our life. It’s connection within us. It’s what can bind us. Showing that each of us, that we can be an equal representation of both. It is in all of us . It definitely did turn out alittle bit different to how I thought of initially.
