21.01.2022 BUSINESS AS USUAL Here at Memphis Hair Design, we are taking all of the required measures to ensure that the salon is up to the highest standards of cleanliness. We do ask that if you are sick or recently returned from overseas that you cancel your appointment, we understand that this is sometimes inconvenient but it would be more inconvenient if we were not here at all! Thanks for your support at this difficult time.

20.01.2022 Hi all, I’ve had quite a few messages regarding our reopening. At this stage we will still be closed until further notice.. It’s predicted that there will be a second wave of the virus. I’m not at this stage prepared to reopen and risk my or the health of the girls.. We will keep you all posted and we hope you’re all keeping well xx

15.01.2022 As Everyone is aware there are quite a few of new businesses coming to town.. This is great yet worrying, we’ve all just sadly seen the Health Shop closing. Let’s all be diligent in supporting the locals old and new.. If you’ve got complaints approach the business in question and give them a chance to rectify the situation.. It’s bloody hard running a small business and we are all human but together we can make this town thrive!!! Memphis Hair Design would like to welcome everyone involved!!!

07.01.2022 It is with a sad and heavy heart we wish to inform you that we won’t be reopening.. Stage two has hit as expected and I’m not prepared to put any of us at risk.. Also I’m not sure if you’ve heard but 10 weeks ago I fell 3 metres off a ladder.. I’ve got a broken bone in my neck ,my lower back has a broken bone in it and I broke my wrist.. So work is out for me until next year.. I have one outstanding gift voucher for Brie McKenzie? If you private message me on here I can arra...nge to refund your money..For the clients that have perms or if I’ve permed your Mothers hair please message me as I have a contact who does great perms.. I’m honored to have been your hairdresser and your friend.. We are all going to miss each and everyone of you. Thankyou all for Choosing us and your undying loyalty.. We will miss the laughs the ups and downs and everything we have shared over the last 7 years. For me personally it’s the end of 42 years on and off of working in the town.. I’ve worked in many of the salons in Emerald and I have owned 3.... For me this is an end of an era and you never know where we might cross paths again.. I’ve loved working with Justine and Sam and I already miss them.. I will keep the Memphis page open for awhile and I’ll check in occasionally...
