23.01.2022 So as a lot of you would have noticed from one of my previous post we got young Cohen his first gummy shark and that was about 6kg anyway Pete and Cohen decided to go for a fish yesterday afternoon and landed this big gumbo caught on fresh blue throat wrasse chunk caught that day!! What’s even better they netted this big girl got her in the boat got a quick snap then chose to release this big pregnant girl!! Good stuff guys!! 08.01.2022 @_brodyf1sh04 and I Launched at Hastings ramp at 7am and went out the front to look for some tuna and on the way out there was a school of salmon stopped and got a couple put them in the live tank we then continued our way around flinders had no luck on the tune and we decided to come back to bouy 12 and go fish for gummy sharks and put out fresh salmon chunks and a rod buckles we wernt entirely sure what it was then brody seen it and called kingfish and then it screamed off ...again when it seen the boat came back up and we netted the fish and landed a nice kingfish at bouy 12 @fishingonlineau @blackmagictackle @atomicfishing #blackmagictackle #atomicarrowz #atomic #arrowz #salmonchunkscatchkingfish

06.01.2022 Last night Dad and I went out on the Port our target was Snapper, We landed 2, then the gummy’s started to bite, we have plenty of flake at home so our plan was to release all, we had released 4.. When my rod then buckled I knew from the fight something wasn’t right, this big girl was gut hooked, she was not in the best way with blood coming from her gills I couldn’t just release her and let her suffer, so we took this quick pic and then put her out of her misery.. Sometime...s things don’t go to plan, in saying that none of this fish will go to waste, I have plenty of friends and family who will enjoy.. - - she was caught on a snell rig with twin 5/0 C point hooks with a combination of a yakka chunk caught 10 minutes earlier, 50lb tough trace did the job again!! @fishingonlineau @blackmagictackle See more
