25.01.2022 Big week last week for Men of Malvern. John Elliot was our guest speaker at our dinner meeting on Wednesday. He was in great humour, his talk was well received and members appreciated the opportunity to ask questions. Then on Thursday Men of Malvern were awarded Stonnington Citizen of the Year in the Community Group category. Not bad after only two and a half years. We have over 90 members now and are busy working on some new projects.
25.01.2022 Here we go. Street stall outside Coles tomorrow. It all starts. Mike needs riders for Sunday 14th. Health forum, who knows who'll be there. BUT if you are not at the Gala, you miss out! 220 are in so far.
23.01.2022 Men of Malvern are up and running for 2016 and are pleased to announce that ON YOUR BIKE is on again. This year under 16s supervised by parents can join in to make it a family experience. Save Sunday 17th April for our second ride, again supported by the Glenferrie Road Malvern Business Association, and this year supported by the City of Stonnington and Cabrini Hospital. 22.01.2022 We have agreat line up for our Basics of Healthy Living forum on Thursday June 9th. This is at 5.30pm in the Banquet hall behind Malvern Town Hall. On the programme which is designed for men and women of all ages is Dr Alison Spence, a dietitian from Deakin Universiy talking about healthy eating, Dr Peter Solin, Cabrini sleep physician on healthy sleep and Dr Ashlee Hendy from Deakin will talk about exercise. 04.01.2022 Men of Malvern are very busy organising a great week celebrating International Men's Health week June 14-19th. A Community Health Forum at 5.30pm on Wednesday 17th at 5.30pm will give the audience an opportunity to question expert panels about key issues in men's health. Then on Thursday 18th at 7pm in the historic Malvern Town Hall it will be "An Evening of Fun and Inspiration" open to all to attend. We also hope to have a bike ride on Sunday 14th.
