The main segments will tell the stories of an amazing, zany and crazy but lovable characters such as Frank Turton THE CHOOKMAN who built a Manboat on the water and he is a local councilor like so many Australians he is a real living Legend and a heritage to Australia, so their stories must be told. Then there are the Ordinary Blokes that just love to collect stuff, like the passion that started 30 years ago when Sean Titheradge collected his first Tooheys Beer Can then seen his collection grow into thousands of cans and other Tooheys memorabilia. 03.01.2022 Men and Their Sheds Roadshow - Lost in the 50's Museum Presenter Chris De Havilland HIDDEN in a backstreet of Cameron Park, car enthusiast Glen Jennings presides over a revhead’s Mecca. Lost in the 50s, Mr Jennings’ secretive American Classic Car Museum, boasts 65 mint-condition vehicles. ‘‘There is a little bit of mystery to the place, and that’s part of the attraction,’’ he said. The mammoth collection boasts a 1959 Dodge Coronet, 1957 Chevy Belair, 1963 Corvette, 1954 Ca...dillac DeVille Coupe, 1950 Buick Roadmaster Fastback Coupe. Mr Jennings bought his first classic, a 1978 Corvette, more than 30 years ago, and has bought and sold many since then. But, with more 10,000 pieces of American memorabilia, Mr Jennings says the museum is not just about cars. ‘‘They’re the star attraction, but it’s not just about that,’’ he said. A former manager of retired Australian boxing legend Kostya Tszyu, Mr Jennings says he’s been to the United States 96 times, but his love of its culture started much earlier. ‘‘As a kid you watch American television and you get exposed to it so much, I guess a lot of it started there,’’ he said. He said Lost in the 50s was ‘‘a very big deal’’ for car enthusiasts. ‘‘I travel a lot in Australia and there is really nowhere else like this, with this size collection,’’ he said.
