23.01.2022 Being fit and healthy physically is just as important as being fit and healthy mentally. Unfortunately we are losing men to both. Use this week to start new conversations, checking in on another and seeking help if we needed. Just as it's "manly" to work out, get big etc. to be a "better man", it's just as "manly" to get help, to talk to someone, to be emotional etc.... We're all in this together. #menshealth #men #boys

18.01.2022 As Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month continues, how we can help is through our language and behaviour towards Women. As Men what we allow will continue. Video by: Department of Social Services, Australian Government.... #DFV #EDUCATION #RESPECT #MEN #WOMEN
17.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask
16.01.2022 Join tomorrow's virtual vigil at 6PM and show your support. DFV Prevention Month, we're remembering all those who've lost their lives as a result of domestic violence. Times have been particularly tough for women and children living in isolation during covid.
14.01.2022 Congrats Joshua Josh was also a key part of the Logan Crisis Response Team which provided emergency relief to those in Logan who were affected by Covid-19.
13.01.2022 Mixed emotions - good to see how far the young men at Park Ridge State High have grown since Week 1 but also sad that today was our last week there. Full credit to the all the boys for their hard work but for also joining us redefine what it means to be a healthy and respectful young man.

04.01.2022 For years Terry Crews was terrified of his alcoholic father. Decades later, Terry finally confronts him about his childhood. But why does it become his biggest regret?
03.01.2022 A new report shows that 15-19 year old girls are more likely to be sexually assaulted than any other Australians. Program Coordinator Andrew spoke to ABC Radio on Friday morning to share why talking to young boys about "what they think it means to be a man" is crucial to preventing violence against women.
03.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder from the team to protect yourself, your family and the community. It’s important to monitor our mental health as it is our physical health. Send us a message if you need to check in and check Queensland Health for updates

03.01.2022 Logan City NOT in lockdown The Queensland COVID-19 Restricted Areas Direction released last night means the Public Health Direction - Aged Care (No.8) app...lies to residential aged care facilities in the suburbs listed. This means schools, childcare centres, shops, community centres etc. are still open as long as they continue to follow their COVIDSafe plans. However, residents should still remain vigilant and follow the health advice. If you have been in contact at one of the listed locations at any of the times prescribed (see https://bit.ly/3jQ8XKx), immediately self-isolate, call 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84) and get tested. Stay COVID Free and Do the Three: - Wash hands regularly - Physical distance (1.5 metres) - Have the COVIDSafe App *Information is current at time of posting.
