16.01.2022 We are currently looking for somebody to join our team in customer service position. Please apply via the Seek advert.

11.01.2022 It has been a prolific year in 2018 here at Mendham Engineering with a heavy workload from start to finish. Once again we wish to thank all of our loyal customers both big and small for their continued support. We look forward to continuing our working relationship in 2019. A special thank you must also go to our 50 strong team of staff members who have tirelessly worked many hours of overtime this year to keep up with the workload. Many improvement projects were impleme...nted this year including the installation of some new machines such as our OM Neo 80 CNC vertical borer capable of precise machining of large components up to 1.9 metres in diameter and 1.8 metres high. A new surface grinder has just arrived and is currently being commissioned. A 1000mm x 450mm surface grinding capability will then be available to our customers. This year also saw us employ a full-time workshop cleaner with the aim to free up apprentices to focus on their training. As a result, the workshop is looking great and is safer than ever. We have also just finished installing 2 giant fans in the workshop to help improve workshop conditions during those hot Brisbane days. Further improvements are already planned for 2019 which will see increased capabilities, improved quality and consistency of accuracy. In November we also passed our annual ISO 9001-2015 quality audit with flying colours. Today we celebrated with our team members and their families with out traditional Christmas party which included a delicious lunch, secret Santa, a prize wheel game and a special visit from Santa himself with gifts for all the kids. We also announced the results of our annual Apprentice of the year award with the win going to Matthew Hoult, who wins a $1000 tool voucher for his efforts. Runner up this year was awarded to Rhylie Hamilton, who wins a $200 tool voucher. We are now closed for Christmas holidays and will reopen at 7.30 am on Monday morning January 7, 2019
