25.01.2022 CHRISTMAS UPDATE - Covid Safe / QR code & Parcel Tracking Hi All, As some of you may have already discovered we are now required to have a COVID-Safe plan which requires the use of either QR code scanning OR manual documentation of contact tracing.... We have several of the QR codes up around the store for you to scan through your SA Gov App on your smart phone. Thankyou to everyone for your patience with getting this done and helping us hopefully keep our customers and staff safe. Also as you may understand with Christmas we are currently receiving record numbers of scanned articles coming through the store which will mean you're receiving all sorts of notifications via email and SMS. Unfortunately there are a lot of SCAM emails and texts going around so be very careful with clicking on links especially if your not expecting something. My best advice with this is to download the Australia Post App, when you receive your tracking details from your supplier save them into the APP then use that solely to track your package. If your in doubt with anything from QR code scanning or missing packages or suspicious emails/SMS activity please feel free to call us, or pop in and ask. Thanks again for your understanding this time of year and if we don't see you i'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy and Safe holiday period. Brad and the team at the Meningie LPO

16.01.2022 Hi Guys, Just a note to say that ETSA are doing work this side of town and at the Post Office we will have no power until approx 4:00pm today. This will mean no SA lotteries or Billpay facilities. We are still open for parcel and mail collection and general stationary needs. If it changes and we are online earlier I will keep you updated. Thanks... Brad

11.01.2022 BILLPAY & BANKING DOWN UFN Hi Guys, Due to circumstances out of our control the Australia Post Billpay and Banking facilities are down until further notice. Unfortunately it looks like being a 2-3 day issue with new equipment having to come from interstate.... Parcel and Mail Collection, SA Lotteries and all the Newsagency facilities are still in operation. Regards, Brad Meningie LPO

08.01.2022 Note for anyone that's going to be away voting day

08.01.2022 Just a heads up to let you know that due to the Coronavirus and people self isolating that we are receiving around double our usual amount of Parcels daily. This seems to be the new 'Normal' for Australia Post and therefore it is causing delays in how long parcels usually take to arrive. With this we unfortunately are seeing more scams coming via Text, Email and even phone calls. My best bit of advice is when you place an order and receive a tracking number jot that number ...down. If your tech savvy and have the Aust Post App on your smart phone device you can save the tracking details in that app and then check to see how the progress is tracking. This can also be done on the Aust Post website. There are other apps that will do similar but ive found them to be incredibly unreliable. If you ever have any questions on parcels please feel free to give us a call. So thankyou all for your patience. Remember if you ever have any queries please feel free to give us a call and most improtantly stay safe everyone.

07.01.2022 This one has hit a little too close to home . Our sister and brother in-law's property got caught up in the terrible fires on the Western End of Kangaroo Island last friday resulting in them losing everything, house, farm, stock, the lot! We've been so lucky so far to have received so many clothes and other household items as donations they simply no longer have the space to store it all as they are house hopping until they can find some permanent living arrangements. If a...nyone would like to help out please donate via the link below. If you're more hands on and think you'd like to donate time and man-power in assisting with other tasks that will be required to help get the farm up and running again over on KI please direct message me Brad Biddle. Thankyou all who have donated so far. I know it is greatly appreciated by the family and we will forever be grateful.
