25.01.2022 About to board the bus to Mt Kilimanjaro! BRING IT ON! See you all in 7 days! Wish us luck!

24.01.2022 We are leaving on a jet plane! The weren't made for big Greg's!

22.01.2022 We are currently on the mountain at Shira Camp 2, sitting approximately 3800m above sea level! All is well, however we can definitely feel the altitude. More mountain to conquer and we are all duly prepared for this journey to test our strength! Stay tuned for more updates! #strivetosurvive!

22.01.2022 To Dawn on Kilimanjaro

21.01.2022 Accidentally stumbled across this...

21.01.2022 Last but certainly not least - huge thanks to our team who helped us reach the summit. David (who got to base camp but could not continue due to altitude causing delirium), hat off to you Dave, we hope we are as good as you at 73. Mike & his 16 year young son Ty, your father & son relationship is an example to all of us. Ron spelt R. O. N! The senior bushman (no diamox for this guy), Louis (68) who could not speak a word of English and kept doing disappearing acts. The boys from Manhattan, Eugene & Evan, love you guys! Krishnan & Shohba, our UK syndicate were Mr & Mrs consistency. Chombo, our fearless and encouraging leader and his 39 staff of cooks, porters, guides and god knows what else. Then the MIP team Ryan,Greg & Anita. You're all amazing and contributed to the success of flying the pink flag. We cannot thank you enough!

20.01.2022 Massive thanks to everyone who has followed us on our journey to cure breast cancer. There were times we wanted to give up from oxygen starvation, muscle pain and exhaustion. The main thing that kept us going was the thought of what women have to go through while fighting breast cancer. The pain and suffering they have to endure to fight for their lives. Our struggle seemed so insignificant and we had to push through.Again thank you all so much

20.01.2022 Our last night in Zanzibar. Rest and relaxation has been bliss after our huge journey to the roof of Africa! Off to Joburg tomorrow night. More to come, watch this space! :)

20.01.2022 We have received some great news today. Ryans' sister in law, Lucinda is now in remission and we all hope it stays that way! Currently we are at Barranco Camp at 3940m above sea level. Today was an 8hr trek from Shira Camp at 3800m to Lava Tower at 4600m and then back to Barranco, so we could acclimatise for the long haul to the summit. The peak thrusts itself into the sky, and like Mt olympus in days of old, there is something truly magical and transcendent with every step forward. #Strivetosurvive!
