24.01.2022 Earlier this week we delivered our tailored bullying and harassment half-day workshop to a client in the mining industry. We also continued our work with WBHO Infrastructure, delivering another two-day Mental Health First Aid course. WHBO is working to ensure staff across their regional and metropolitan locations have the skills and knowledge to support or help others experiencing mental health problems in the workplace or the community. 04.01.2022 Mental Health: Did you know... Sunshine can be therapeutic. It’s possible that getting 15 minutes of bright sunlight every morning could reduce levels of distress. Mindful breathing can reduce the physical signs of stress. One deep breathing exercise you can try is known as 1-4-2 breathing.... Loneliness affects health and can lead to increased risks of developing mental and physical ill health. Loneliness doesn’t necessarily go away if we are surrounded by people. Lifeline receives 120 calls every hour. Lifeline’s 13 11 14 service is a nationally-routed crisis support number, available every day of the year, from any location in Australia. These facts (and accompanying mental health tips) featured on The Push-Up Challenge Facebook page this week. Our push-up tally reached at 1800 the end of day four.
