22.01.2022 The book also has useful tips and practical responses for family members or friends to use when someone they care for is struggling

22.01.2022 The book is divided into sections - the first is all about stopping your separation and outlines some options on how to be proactive about changing your situation for the better. The second part of the book is focussed on what to do if separation or divorce is imminent. It’s a ‘survival guide’ to making it through that brutal process; hopefully you don’t have to use it, but it's better to have a life jacket and not need it. www.stopdivorcebook.com

17.01.2022 Hello everyone, because it’s almost christmas, I’d like to ask you for an early present (that will cost less than 5 minutes of your time). The book that we’ve spent so much effort on is now available to the world. That’s awesome and we’re super happy about that, but now the next job starts - letting the world know about it. If you could take a minute out to write a brief review on Amazon, we’d be beyond appreciative. ... You don’t even have to have purchased a copy via amazon to leave a review. All you have to do is go here - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07JN4G6R9?tag= and click down the page on ‘Write a Customer Review’. We don’t need shameless praise, just a short description of what you liked or how it helped would incredibly useful. Thanks in advance!

12.01.2022 PRESS RELEASE NEW BOOK OFFERS SEPARATION TRAUMA ‘ROADMAP’ When Aaron Stevenson’s marriage began to deteriorate, his qualifications and three decades of experience working as a mental health clinician in emergency departments and Crisis Assessment Teams (CAT) wasn’t enough to steer him in the right direction.... As his relationship sped towards a potential divorce, he realised how little practical guidance there was available. It was while researching his own situation that the seed was planted for the Stop Divorce: Surviving and Thriving your Breakup book - the first half is about saving the relationship and turning it around, the second is what to do if separation is already imminent. "I reviewed and researched hundreds of relationship articles, stop your divorce websites, podcasts, ebooks, forums and groups. My goal was to take the most pertinent, distinct and useful elements and apply them to my 32 years of clinical and now lived experience. Aaron says. "What I needed was a practical, simple, step by step guide but there was none The book also has useful tips and practical responses for family members or friends who often don’t know what to say or how to respond when someone they care for is struggling In the process of writing Aaron was convinced to further adapt the book into a face to face personal single session therapy & a training module for other professionals after a number of people turned to him for help. The face to face program has now been road tested many times and we’ve found it to be particularly useful for men who often tend to decompensate in destructive ways. They turn to vices, violence, emotional acting out, risk taking & self harm - the outcomes being Intervention Orders, Emergency Departments, lawyers, custody battles, police charges, desperation, turmoil or suicide. Aaron has now combined research with personal and clinical experiences to publish the Stop Divorce book, provide single sessions (helpful for those that don’t like to read) and a training module that other clinicians can deliver themselves in person or via Skype.
