25.01.2022 Quade and Lucas decided to run a Heat Patrol. The beach goers are rapt to see Mentone Patrollers and asked if we had any water. If you have any spare time on a declared Heat Wave day please volunteer. Not a bad place to deal with the heat!!

23.01.2022 Any Bronzey’s who can open the first aid room this afternoon (28th Dec) and help with the heat wave would be most appreciated. MLSC treated 25 kids with stings yesterday with ice packs.

New Building Update - come and hear how the plans are progressing!... 2. Fund Raising Initiatives - the fun part of raising funds to help fit out our new building....all ideas welcome! 3. Patrol Planning Update - some exciting plans for our patrol teams for the new season, with record numbers signed up for Bronze & SRC courses! 04.01.2022 Heat Wave Patrol this Friday 4th. Even if we can get a 2 person partial patrol that would be a benefit. The club kiosk will be staffed. Just comment if you can make down.
03.01.2022 Time certainly fly's this time of year!! Sunday is the last opportunity to Requal at Mentone and we want to see all our Bronzies get down. You worked hard to get this Bronze so please keep it!! Just complete the easy questions on the LSV Training from Anywhere portal and come on down. We have less than 50% of our Bronze members requal so far. This of course is very concerning as the club needs help to patrol over the whole summer. All the info is on the new club website and the mobile phone Team App. Just click on Mentonelsc awards for requal or Mentonelsc for patrol info. There is a requal at Mordi on Sunday 22nd and Carrum has Requal on Sunday 29th Dec if you can't attend the Mentone LSC date.

01.01.2022 The season is just about to start here is what you need to do: 1. Go to the Apple Store and get the Team App, log on and go to Patrol to find out what team your in 2. Book your requal using the instructions below... How to register for your Skills Maintenance this season at Mentone There are sessions scheduled during the afternoon of Saturday 10th Nov, Saturday 17th Nov and Sunday 25th November. (see below or go to the Mentone LSC Awards 'Skills Maintenance' button in Team App) The following steps will assist you to complete your skills maintenance for BM, SRC, Spinal, ART (AID). Go to http://www.lsv-from-anywhere.com.au/ Log in to your account (if you’ve used this before) or create a new account. Click on ‘Skills Maintenance’. Choose the Award you need to complete the online theory for and click Launch Click ‘Book Practical’ and select a date and time you would like to attend Note: Repeat steps 1-5 for all Awards that you hold. After successfully completing the online theory, print or save your certificate digitally and remember to bring this to your skills maintenance session. Don’t forget it (No evidence, No Assessment) Please do this early to avoid missing out on your preferred time as numbers per session are capped at 12. Multiple award holders are scheduled for Saturday 17th Nov, i.e. all the above-mentioned awards during that session i.e. BM &/or Spinal &/or ART (AID). All IRB Crew and IRB Driver practical skills assessments will be facilitated on patrol this season.
